Beautiful. Came with the alan wrench needed to drive it into the wood. Also came with the drill bit that's the perfect size for them. Just drill the hole, grab an insert and drive it in with the alan wrench. Couldn't be any more simple than that. Has a very strong connection when testing with the 1/4" -20 threaded bolts I purchased with them.I build custom furniture and I use these for the the parts that the customer has to assemble themselves. They just line up the pieces and screw together with an included alan wrench. This allows for smaller boxes and lower shipping costs. Not only do these work great, they look great - professional, even though the parts that use these aren't visible in the end. But to the customer putting the thing together, it looks good.

Allen key is trash that comes with this set.I have a complete set of metric and SAE Allen keys. None of them fit the thread insert to install.

Makes building furniture easier. They include everything you need to install. My suggestion would be: a forstner bit to drill the holes, it would be better for precise location of holes. Also a long Allen wrench would be nice for inserting in hardwood.

Fairly easy to use fit tight and so far hold great. I used wood glue to lubricate and went up a fraction of a size on the drill bit going into Cherry.

I am always looking for ways to clean up my wood working skills. These screw in nuts are a game changer, when you have everything lined up and square. When using these screw in nuts you take your work to the next level. These make your joints/conection points a cleaner look, with no sightly nut and over long bolts sticking out making a snag point. Then screws can look out of ballance to the rest of theproject. Also if you need parts to move these are a must. Allowing you to give space between joints instead of using wood screws which tighten everything up ans in place

1 out of the 2 packs I bought wasnt threaded correctly. All and all not bad, works great!
