There were no holes in the caps for the gasses to get out. The plastic is soft so not super clear but clear enough to monitor progress and cleanliness. Once I drilled the holes in the cap they are functional and affordable.

pack of 6 airlocks with stoppers. i haven't used the large stoppers as all of my fermentation jars use screw on lids but they seem like they would work fine. the airlocks work well and hold into the rubber seals without issues. i normally use bell style airlocks but these look nicer and are fun to watch just got to be careful to not get a foam up getting into them as they are more difficult to clean out than ones that can be fully disassembled.

This product does not have holes in the cap to vent. You have to drill your own holes or leave the cap off. If you take the cap off, it worked perfect.
