This matches up fine with the readings I get on the other random thermometers I own. It's with-in 1/2 degree of the Fluke thermocouple I own at room temperature. I like these because they are longer (6 feet) and that makes it easier to find a safe place to set my multimeter. Most of us don't have a certified calibrated thermometer so we just use whatever we have that we think is correct. These easily fall with-in that type of accuracy. I use these for HVAC work so most of the temps I will read will be less than 150 degrees F. I measure temp changes mostly and repeatability is very important. These are great for that. The over-all accuracy is determined more by the device they are plugged into. In my case it’s a Fluke 80tk thermo-couple module and I have never sent it to Fluke for calibration because the calibration will cost more than replacing the 80tk.The only complaint I have is there is no strain relief, but I figure a little RTV will solve that.

Came within 0.2 Dec C accuracy of my reference probe out of the box. Didn't expect that level of accuracy for the price. Within temperature control range expected.Could use a better strain relief at the plug end. Just don't wiggle or yank, after all it's an instrument. Easy to use.

These are okay for my purposes as a home inspector. If you need precision, then I would look elsewhere. They are not super accurate. The restaurant industry taught me to calibrate temperature probes prior to use. So when I get new probes I check them at both the freezing point (32) and the boiling point (212).At 32 degrees they are both high by 4-5 degrees. At room temperature they both tested a degree or two high. At the boiling point, they were very close.I do like the fact the ends may be disassembled. My other K-type probes tend to break at the plug. At least with these, I can repair them instead of buying new ones.Interestingly enough, my Taylor meat thermometer/alarm is very accurate. Maybe I should just use it for inspections.

The respond faster than my high speed super fast cooking probe ($100) and the cable had no problems being drapped over the edge of a 50K btu burnered wok in the blow off heat at the edge. Cannot think of a better replacement at any cost for the exact replacement on my fluke. Fast delivery.
