I needed a triangle for a community symphony that had enough carry power to be heard, and most importantly, a decent sound. Couldn't afford an Abel so I decided to try this Tycoon Percussion 6" triangle and I'm amazed at how GOOD this sounds! The design looks similar to the Black Swamp triangles (insanely expensive!) with a taper at both ends. Whatever they did in designing this, I love the sound and it has enough heft to be heard. This is a quality instrument, the perfect size and at a great price! I have other products from the Tycoon Percussion line and every one has been excellent - I will continue to purchase and recommend this brand.

This one has the right shape to be good apparently and to my ears sounds very good. I’m not a triangle expert but I love its tones, you can conjure a variety including very pure
