I used it with a temporary window mount on my vehicle for a long weekend trip and it worked as well as I expected. It doesn't have the range of a 102" whip antenna, but I could hear local CB traffic clearly. With the quick connect style BNC connector, I was able to easily take it off at night or when parking in questionable areas.

Was hoping to get a better antenna for my handheld CB and this does improve reception slightly. Also, it is more flexible.

Nice and flexible but it didn't improve the reception of my handheld scanner. It has the BNC connector which is nice. I hooked the scanner to a larger external antenna and it receives fine. Our local fire station and it's dispatch, radio antennas are less than a mile away and this antenna just won't bring in the transmissions.
