I was tired of my department issued radios antenna. In looking for a shorter one, I was surprised to know, they had them. Of course it's much more convenient, as it doesn't get caught on everything I have to wear day to day. Interms of quality there in no noticeable diffrence. Fit is phenomenal, and sound quality is perfect.

I love this thing. I have the Motorola APX-6000, and this is the exact antenna as the stock, only shorter. I haven’t noticed any comms issues with the shorter wave, but YMMV.

This looks brand new and looks identical to my old, OEM stubby antenna and fits perfectly but it doesn't work, at all. 0 signal bars.

I'm a police officer in a city of approx 75k ppl and have an outer vest. I have my radio on my left side of my vest under my arm. With the stock antenna (8 or 9 in) it was always rubbing my under arm and getting in the way. I put this one on and no more being in the way! Also, signal strength is perfect all around the city! Love it!
