Got this on sale but would pay full price. Super easy plug and play via USB to my docking station. The video is clear and not laggy. The mic picks up better than the one on my work laptop. Stably sits on top of my monitor and the angle is easy to adjust. I like the optional manual cover. It's nice to be facing the camera instead of always in profile because I'm looking at a different monitor. Thinking about getting another one for the office.

I do really like that this was literally Plug & Play, out of the box. It showed right up in Teams right after plugging this into my dock… then was a little finicky, so I did have to restart the computer and then it showed up again and no problems since. I plugged this into my dock, as I use the dock for a work computer & my personal computer and neither have had any issue recognizing the camera since installation. It has great resolution and there are basic & some ‘advanced’ settings, if you decide that the basic configuration doesn’t suit your needs! The only thing that kept me from giving this 5 stars is that the lens cover is NOT well designed and 4 times out of 5, when I try to lift the cover, the whole thing falls off, then the angle of the camera gets messed up and it’s a bit frustrating! This is because the part of the camera that allows it to sit on the monitor doesn’t really provide a good way to grip the monitor, so it’s not terribly secure.

Great product for the price. The only missing feature is an adjustable head to tilt up/down for laptops and large monitors.

This review is for the UGREEN FHD 2k Webcam which was priced at $23 when ordered. The camera has 1080p resolution and can do 30 hertz (fps). The video quality looked crisp, had good color, and wasn't overly processed. It actually looks good. The sound quality is also decent. The test recordings had good frequency range for conversations and sounded natural. The sales posting indicated it would have some sort of noise canceling, but I didn't notice any during my testing. My recordings did pick up a lot of background noise, but voices sounded more natural than other mics when using ANC. In a quiet room, the mic works well. The build quality is good. I like the finish of the plastic used, as it has an almost metal look and feel. It was fairly light weight, but didn't feel cheap. The lens cover was a nice feature, but I broke mine while trying to put it back on after it was removed completely. The cover is made of inexpensive thin plastic and felt like an afterthought added on to an otherwise finished product. The 2m (6.5ft) USB type A cable is fixed and can not be removed, but does feature a ferrite core which is always nice to see.Use was plug and play with Windows PCs, one couldn't ask for an easier setup. My biggest complaint is the mechanism for tilt adjustability when the camera is sitting on top of a monitor (and not using the threaded base insert for attachment). The camera rotates side to side using a swivel between the base and the camera body, but for up and down tilt, one must adjust the bases arm angle relative to the back of the monitor. You can still get the correct vertical alignment, it's just finicky. If attached to a threaded stand the arm angle directly controls tilt and is much easier to adjust. For about $20 this is a surprisingly good web camera and I would actually recommend it because of the strong price to performance proposition.

ProsAffordable – Falls on the lower end of the price spectrum (got it on sale)Decent Resolution – Advertised as 2K, though it looks more like 1080P to be honestUsable Sharpness – Not the best, just acceptablePrivacy Shutter - good positiveConsConfusing Resolution Claims – Advertises 2K but appears closer to 1080P and then the listing says 2K and 1080PColor Accuracy Issues – Tends to lean too much toward red tones, this is really disappointing, lot of scope to improve the calibration on the software sideLack of Auto Light Adjustment – Despite claiming this feature, it doesn't seem to work properlyFlickering in Calls – Noticed occasional flickering, which affects video quality, this happened on WebEx, teams and zoom is decent and works wellJust Average Sharpness – Not as crisp as some other optionsOverall doesn’t compare to name brandsOverall Rating: 5/10Will be returning - disappointed

It's a pretty good webcam and microphones, though I wish it was a little sharper, still good relative to cost, I just need to accept that I need to spend more.

I work often from home, and I participate in many Teams meetings during the day. Having a decent webcam is a must, and my old one was getting long in the tooth, and it was only 720p resolution. This one looked promising, and the price is very reasonable, so I took the plunge. It is a full 1080p (and 2K) resolution, which is great, and it has two microphones, which work well. My image is much clearer and detailed, and it actually has a greater field of view than my old one. I like that it has a privacy cover, but it is a little flimsy and sometimes hard to open without moving the camera. Other than that, it is a good replacement for my old webcam for a good price!

Picked this up with a good discount offer at the time of purchase. Bought to replace a cheap HD webcam, this is a definite improvement and works very well for my needs. At this price point it's well worth a look depending upon your needs. I am happy with the quality and would recommend.

It looks 2k, but no way to change the quality as well as 30 fps only
