I've been buying UGreen products for the last few years. Along with their competitor, Anker, I have been very satified with their cables, connectors, power banks and chargers (especially the GaN technology adaptors). This UGreen SSD enclosure has ticked all the boxes for me, including being at a very affordable price point. The value proposition was further enhanced by free shipping to the Philippines.The enclosure kit included the enclosure shell, a silicone enclosure cover, instructions, a screwdriver, thermal pad and two USB cables (one USB-C to USB-A and one USB-C to USB-C). The included USB cables were 33mm long (13"). The connection to the enclosure is via USB-C. The packaging (box and internals) was robust enough to ensure it arrived undamaged, in spite of it being shipped in a soft-pack pouch.I installed a 256GB NVMe SSD which was taken out of a Geekom NUC/Mini Computer (also from Amazon) that I upgraded with a 1TB Samsung SSD. The 256GB SSD had both B+M keys but that wasn't an obstacle to installation as the UGreen enclosure accepts both formats. Additionally, the enclosure is suitable for 2230, 2260 and 2280 sizes. The 256GB SSD was 2280 and it fit without issue. Be aware that m-SATA is not supported with this enclosure.Note this is not a tool-less enclosure (UGreen sells other enclosures that are). An included screw is required to secure the SSD to the enclosure board. A screw is also required to secure the two sections of the enclosure once closed (also included). For those who are swapping out SSDs on a regular basis they may find this to be a problem, but for my use, it was not. SSDs installed in this enclosure are not "hot-swappable" so this too may represent a problem for some.I found the write/re-write speeds for my use to be more than adequate. Whether I was copying 5GB video files or smaller PDF files, the transfer rates did not exhibit any noticeable lag. I realize this is not a technical assessment, but for my use, I did not require more in-depth performance data. I formatted the drive to exFAT so that I could run the new external drive with new Geekom NUC/Mini Computer and my iMac. Neither computer experienced a problem recognizing the SSD enclosure and I was able to get on with copying over files immediately after assembling the SSD enclosure.If you are looking for an inexpensive, quality SSD enclosure, you should not be disappointed with this one.

Works good. I needed it to check some older SSD laying around. Wouldn't work on my older USB A hub, have to plug it into the computer USB. I don't blame the housing though.

This enclosure is well-made, easy to open, and simple to use. For the price, it can’t be beat. I used it to clone my C: drive. After swapping out the Drive I now use it as external storage.

First off, I like it, it works, great value. Just be careful with the installation of the drive. I spent hours troubleshooting what appeared to be a DOA drive. DL'd apps, removed and reinstalled the drive several times, cleaned terminals, etc. My phone would see a USB connection for a second then it would disappear. Absolutely no recog on PC or tablet. This is not the first m.2 I've played with, but can't claim massive experience, but the best I can figure is the drive was allowed to cock sideways a hair at the holddown screw,

What I liked most was that it was super easy to install. Opened the unit, slipped the Tera byte SSD into the unit, closed it and plugged it in. It came right up saying I Had another Tera byte of memory and was able to use it right away.I sure do enjoy it when the units operate as expected without needless twea1king or adjustment. I think this will be usable for some time to come.

I bought it to save an nvme drive where the connector on the original enclosure broke. Unfortunately I think my drive is damaged so this case (which works fine) won't help me. What I will say is it looks much better in person. Also the rubber sleeve is removable. It's a nice case

El producto contiene todo lo que necesitas, hasta un pequeño desarmador, cuando lo probe funciono muy bien con una Kingston kc300, me ayudo a copiar un disco duro de 500GB en menos de 10 mins. Lo recomiendo!!Los productos de esta marca me gustan mucho, son muy funcionales y se sienten de buena calidad. Anteriormente compre un bus para expandir los puertos de mi pc.
