This replaced a Bluetooth 5.0 dongle which had an external antenna but was starting to have problems staying connected. Range in my house, due to walls and other sources of interference, is not as good as the previous, but all the issues I was having with the older one are gone.What I have done to improve range--I had a USB male-to-female extension cable which I think came with an old iPhone or Mac, and I plugged this dongle into the female end of that and hung it over the handle of a cabinet door which is above my desk, so it's kind of free-hanging in the air but out of the way of anything which might snag on it. It's working pretty well!

The Bluetooth built into a 9 year old motherboard was good for about 18 feet. THIS Bluetooth is good for over 30 feet with the same headphones.

Spend a couple more bucks and buy a brand that works. This piece of trash does not. The computer notices the dongle, but the dongle can't find a single device.

Es plug and play, funcionó a la primera, ya conecte varios gadgets y 0 problemas, pero necesitarás deshabilitar el bluethoot antiguo si es que que traes uno ya por defecto o de fábrica
