So I bought these not for the intended use but to snip the ends off to wire them to lighting fixtures.Much cheaper than buying stand-alone cords.They are really EXCELLENT for that use.Super high-quality outer casing, and inner wires and insulation.For a fraction of the cost of a simple AC plug with stripped wires at the other end.If you need a new cord on something, and are handy, grab these.

I originally had issues with the cables as described below, however, after being contacted by the support I received a replacement pain-free.The new cables fit fine and work as expected on my vesa monitors.--Old Review--I bought these for my vesa mounted monitors so that I could better rout the cables, but the female end that you plug into the monitor doesn't fit tightly enough so moving the monitors causes them to come unplugged. I had also noticed a slight arcing sound when trying to get the cables to fit better. So not worth risking my monitors for longer, but cheaper cables.When looking in the holes I can see the metal contacts are bent slightly inwards on both wires, not sure if that has anything to do with it but still looks weird.

Its a little weird, it feels tight but for some reason its not secure. Both monitors will shut off if bumped or wiggled. Two different brands of monitor also. I took a small strip of paper and folded in two then put a strip of tape over it, now it seems to be working much better.

These things work like champs!!! I have a set of Fender Fighter 10s and I lost a power cable so I needed to replace one and decided to go with something longer than what came with them. These things are heavy duty and much more sturdy than the stock cables which were fine, I just lost one and needed another. I don't really need anything longer than 15' right now because I have a 25' heavy duty extension cord that I run to a power supply/surge protector so I'm good on power cable length. These are PERFECT for a gigging musician with active PA speakers.

I purchased a total of 12 Packs of 2, all of them working as intended, with no issues at all, and very affordable. I went to my local Computer Shop, and they charged $15 for just 1 cable. I recommend using these for your desktop computers, as well as monitors as that's what I mainly used them for.

Maybe you don't need the extra current capacity, but for desktop computers, powerful stereo amplifiers or active subwoofers, and the like, a heavier power cord is just a good investment to maximize the potential of the component(s). These were less expensive than some lesser cables, but will last a lifetime with proper use and be adequate for anything that plugs into a 120V outlet.
