The rig is a bit too bulky. The light is hard to operate as it does not always respond when the touch buttons are touched. The rig is very light as it is made of plastic. With it being so light I cannot imagine the light has a very good battery pack. The light is not very bright. The phone clamp is not very deep so my phone in its case does not fit in it all the way. Even with a shallow clamp it still holds my phone, in case, very well because the clamping force is strong. I will be returning this rig for one deal breaking reason. The handle that folds out does NOT lock in to place at all. There is no latch or any resistance that helps keep it from folding back up. Instinctually you will find yourself pushing the handle back open which causes the camera to jiggle. Reducing image jiggle by getting a better grip on the phone is a primary reason for buying a cell phone camera rig. So again this is another cell phone camera rig that fails to perform one of it's basic functions.

This is the best rig that I own now. It flexible to use any smartphone, a battery pack, and anything else like lights, mics, monitor, etc. As a Vlog and smartphone filmmaker this is so ideal for just about any situation.I love that the handles are utilized with cold shoe mounts, as well. It even holds the Allen wrench used to tighten or loosen the handles. However, there is one smaller Allen wrench used to adjust your phone mount, while rarely used, it would be nice that the handle would also accommodate that one, as well.This fits my iPhone Pro 13 and iPhone Pro Max 15 without issue. My type setting up is two RGB lights, a mic, a battery pack, mic receiver for my Lavalier mics, a quick attach tripod mount, a monitor mount, and sometimes a second smartphone.

The ULANZI Universal Phone Video Rig With Power Bank Clip And Handle is actually easier to use than I thought it would be, and I do feel and see the difference when I use it. This has so many useful features! I like the handles, as they feel stable and sturdy, making for a smooth process when I am filming, and for photography. I feel like I have better control when I use it. As I use it regularly, I am even more comfortable with it. I like that I can attach it to my tripod, and it has legs that allow it to stand on its own. It also provides great adjustable lighting. This rig is lightweight, and so easily portable, and very easy to use without feeling like your arms might fall off.This really does enhance filing and photography, and I highly recommend it.

I’m new at this vlogging thing however I am no novice when it comes to shooting material of all kinds to fine tune & edit to create short videos, news clips, interviews, etc. I majored in broadcast in college & I have experience both in front of and behind the camera. This is an amazing tool! I didn’t quite understand all of the helpful things it is capable of doing, I thought it was simply a way cool light that could attach to my tripod. This does so much!! Honestly there’s way too much to list, but I love how this light can work with so many different types of accessories and by different brands. It doesn’t limit you to certain products or a certain shooting style. It’s so flexible in terms of making this what you want it to be and exactly what you wish for it to do. I cannot believe I got so lucky with this! The price point is a bargain for the laundry list of things this bad boy can do for you and whatever project you’re working on, no matter what subject of interest.It’s VERY user friendly, especially for beginners. I could honestly go on & on but ain’t nobody got time for that! This light offers a ton of pleasantly surprising benefits & will even give you ideas to make your videos better!

I'm really impressed by the design of this rig. It requires charging in order to work, and while it can be used cord free when charged, it also works while connected to power with the included charging cable. There is an on/off switch on one of the handles, as well as a brightness and color adjustment dials. The light can go from barely there to extremely bright, as well as very cool to very warm in color. The other handle has a storage slot for the bluetooth remote - I really appreciate that feature because the remote is pretty small and could get misplaced easily.The rig comes with a phone adapter that can easily be screwed on. I had no problem attaching my iPhone 13 Pro (in its case) to the adapter, either horizontally or vertically. I love that there are also three cold shoe mounts for additional accessories. There are small supports that rotate outwards for stability if using the rig on a table top, as well as the ability to attach the light rig to a tripod.This rig is light enough to take on the go, and sturdy enough that I don't worry about my phone while it's attached. I ordered this light for my daughter as she starts her new podcast at college, and it will definitely fit the bill.
