Your cart is empty. Each pair of string silencers is handmade from 100% Navajo Churro wool making them naturally water repellent in harsh conditions. These silencers are designed to reduce the "twang" of the bowstring for quieter shooting. Each pair of bow limb dampeners are hand cut from tanned Canadian deerskin, staying soft and absorbing sound even when wet. The limb dampeners come with an easy peel off backing and extra strong water-resistant adhesive which will last many seasons. The leather padding cushions the strike sound of the bow string hitting the limbs for a quieter bow string release. Compatible with recurve bows, long bows, and self-bows.

These silencers are great and easy to install. The instructions are pretty straightforward. They work great. Exactly how they’re suppose to. Once installed on your bow the reverb of the release is significantly less.

Welp, I wasted money on this purchase. Bought these for my recurve. This was my first time installing wool string silencers... I followed the enclosed paper instructions, however, first time out the balls completely fell apart. Later I watched the video on the website and saw what I did wrong. The silencers are meant to be sandwiched between the individual bow strings, the bow's tension is what holds them in place. I was wrong to thread the bow string through the center of the silencer. While this is my fault, I do wish the instructions had been clear about this step. Now I know better, hopefully this helps a newbie like me.
