  • This vinyl pool liner repair kit from Pool Above includes two (2) rectangular heavy duty pool patches for above-ground pools, each measuring 8.5 inches long and 5.5 inches wide.
  • Choose from 3-Ply Heavy Duty Glue-on Patches or our 1-Ply peel-and-stick formula.
  • Ideal uses include patching pool liners - inside or outside of the swimming pool. In dry conditions or under water inside a full pool. Additional uses include repairing inflatable pools, rafts, kayaks, and and air mattresses. Patching vinyl seats in your boat or golf cart, and more!
  • Times are tight. We get it. The prices for those pop-up pools and inflatable boats we used to get at the local big-box stores have gone way up! Instead of buying a new one every year, It's time to get as many years as we can out of them.
  • Underwater Pool Repair - These work underwater. Just clean the area, and peel, and stick, or follow the instructions for the glue-patch option.

At Pool Above, we are obsessed with getting the best possible repair for your inflatables. We understand that patches hold best when they are adhered to the same materials. This is why we destroy perfectly good products to create our patch kits. This repair kit works well for most vinyl repairs, but is designed specifically for pool liners. It includes one Pool Above Glue Kit (24895) and two patches that measure 5.5" x 8.5". The glue kit includes two complimentary 9.5cm x 20cm clear vinyl sheets along with 1 fl oz. (30ml) tube of vinyl cement and applicator. Please follow the instructions and watch the video for the best possible hold. Recommended age 14+ Glue-down Application instructions: Clean all surfaces to be patched thoroughly using a vinyl surface cleaner. Cut the patch larger than the area to be patched. Cut the patch with rounded corners to prevent peeling. Light gauge vinyl & inflatable pools: Apply the adhesive sparingly to patch, covering it evenly all over. Heavy gauge vinyl & pool liners: Apply the adhesive liberally to patch, covering it evenly all over. Out of the water: Apply patch to cover damaged area being sure to press out all air bubbles. If possible, apply weight to the patch and allow 24 hours to reach full bond strength. Under water: keep patch folded onto itself over the area to be repaired, then unfold patch and apply immediately. Carefully press out all air bubbles. If possible, apply weight to the patch and allow 24 hours to reach full bond strength.Tip: If your damaged area is on a seam, add an additional bead of glue to the seam before applying the patch.

Follow the instruction and you'll have no problems! Fixed a hole about the side of a 1/2 dollar in our pool and is still holding water after MONTHS!

I ordered a different kit that had the same chemical in it but the patches were only like 4" in diameter, and they were solid blue, my pool has the blue squares. Its an above ground 30 foot by 18 foot intex seasonal pool. During the winter we had an animal eat through two layers making 2 rather large open holes in the liner. it was a very expensive pool so I didn't want to have to replace it. When the first kit didn't cover, I ordered this one, not only were the patches big enough to cover the holes and then some, there were more than I needed. I patched the inside and outside even though it doesn't say you have to. We patched it while it was dry, (make sure you round the edges as they were the only thing that didn't adhere) waited the full 24 hours for full adhesion, and we have no leaks while filling the pool.I did order the rush shipping on these and amazon didn't recognize the shipping method so the tracking was wrong and I received them a day later than advertised, not a week later like amazon updated the date to.love that although the pattern isn't perfectly aligned because of needing to use the full patch to be sure of coverage, it still matches the pattern and when the pool is full you can't tell it's patched!

Product worked on my intex pool, but it is quite messy the first time you use it. But hey, no more leak!

I was skeptical if this was going to work. I loosely followed the instructions since heat was a factor. Once I put the patch on it was there. So be sure you get it where you want it the first time. If it is dry clean the surface first. Then take a pen and mark where you want the patch to be, once you stick it, a second chance is not going to happen. My one con to this, The glue is just enough to coat the patches. It really needs to be 30% more. So you may want to order a second tube of glue to have for those smaller wholes so you don’t have to wait.

We patched a 5” hole a 2 inch hole on bottom of pool and another 2 inch on side of pool and worked great!!! We did this before putting up though dry. We patched top of hole then also patched under side to be extra safe. It turned out like new as far as sealing and not leaking. If you take your time and let it dry 24 hours it will save you from buying a new pool. We patched a 4.5 foot pool 22 feet across… definitely good stuff and we used the pool patches and not the clear ones that came inside glue
