Easy 3-steps guide
- Short press on/off to turn on UT383BT. Extended press on/off, Bluetooth icon appears at bottom left and flashing. Start iENV app on phone with Bluetooth on.
- Click scan and select the device to connect.
- Measurement and record on app.

Shipped on time and in good condition. I bought this sensor to help me with my new indoor growing project. The digital display has nice, big and easy to read numbers. The Bluetooth is responsive and easy to turn on and pairs quickly to my phone. I haven't found anything to be even remotely dissatisfied about with this product. Especially at the price. I do speak as an indoor gardener though, not from the perspective of photography.It's difficult to overstate how convenient and useful it is to have a sensor for measuring PPFD.In the picture you'll notice the app I got for my phone, called PPFD Meter (excellent app), which is designed to pair with the Bluetooth of this product and work together. This is a boon because my phone lacks a light sensor of its own (more modern/expensive phones likely won't have this issue). This gives you a very inexpensive alternative to a much more expensive PAR meter.Make no mistake, this is not a complete replacement for a fully fledged Quantum PAR meter however, and it does require a bit of setup and knowledge to get going. That said, the readings it gave me have proven very acceptably accurate (within 5% error). I tested it with a ViparSpectra XS1000 and get readings of roughly 850-900 PPFD at about 12" from the light, which is right where it should be without a grow tent/reflective walls. The sensor and app are doing their job well.Excellent value for money. Sensor and phone app both highly recommended for any grower on a budget.

Very rugged. I had it on a bed, and sat down a few times right on it, but it's still going fine.Hard to rate the accuracy, as I have no other light sensors. This is my first and only tool. Used it with an app to get DLI (daily light index) values. Super easy to discover in the app. Just showed up, and started showing readings, which I like.I was able to use it to optimize the height of grow lights above plants, based on how many hours per day the lights are on, and thus adjust the height to get an optimum DLI for my plants. The readings showed way too low for a few lights - too high above the plants, and the plants were leggy and confirmed it was not enough light.A few were too high DLI readings - meaning the light was too close. There is a nice 'burn' mark on the leaves where the lights left a discoloration, so pretty sure it was indeed too much.For my uses, it's not an every day tool, but the price point was perfect for my usage. I needed something inexpensive, to get the grow light heights close enough, and I probably will not need to mess with it again unless I want to confirm later, or if I add grow capacity. I was able to optimize the tomatoes and peppers (need a LOT of light), and dial back the light on some of the others like lettuce.Excellent tool. I love that it uses AAA batteries for easy replacement when needed. Well built, great price, easy app integration, and seems to be accurate enough for my needs. Glad I purchased, and would recommend to others.

I was setting up a new LED Gro-Light for growing orchids and some epiphytic cactus and wanted a simple light meter that would report Foot-candles and Lux as most info about artificial light and orchids reports light levels in foot-candles. This meter had good reviews, was inexpensive, and easy to use so I ordered it. Received with the new light fixture. Meter was well built and indeed easy to use without doing more than glancing at the buttons and toggling to the reading I wanted. Very helpful in deciding on the height of the fixture above the plants. Very pleased with this meter.

I purchased this product off a Youtube recommendation. It works, and seams to be accurate. I use it for Tent growing, and my plants seam to be happier and green again! Not almost starting to turn yellow from over light.Would recommend over having nothing, or paying over 400 for high end similar products.

A great little meter that can be used for PAR, PPF readings.When the meter is set to FC: divide the reading by 6.35 and you will get PAR, PPF numbers +- 5%When the meter is set to LUX: divide the reading by 6.85 and you will get PAR, PPF numbers +- 5%Since it's bluetooth capable, you can download the app PPFD Meter to your phone and connect the app to this meter and get a very nice and affordable PAR PFFD meter.I hope that helps others.

Perfect for taking par readings with the app on my phone a lot cheaper than buying a par meter highly recommend just get the ppfd app good to go don't burn your plants
