This well constructed and attractive electric bell model is mounted on a clear acrylic plate and a finished wooden stand to allow the functional parts to be clearly seen. Model operated on 6V DC with an on/off switch, adjustable contact screw, and binding posts for easy connection. Includes activity guide.

I used tis for my science class.

Used it to work with middle school students, attached to DC power supply about 2-6 volts. We noticed one of the connections started to wear out quickly, where the circuit closes between the doorbell arm and the negative lead. Maybe faulty design or low quality material?
