I ordered two of these for reasons I don't remember. I opened both immediately and charge some batteries. I wanted to ensure they worked. I have two lights that use 18650 batteries. These are Liion batteries. These multi-size chargers have a sliding bar at one end so they can take various batteries. I find that if you pull them back with your fingers and insert the battery, they work better than trying to push them back with the battery. They will slide more easily and you are less likely to damage them. This charger was easy to connect the battery. Some chargers are hard to get good connections. I did not have any problems with this unit. They immediately measure the battery voltage which determines the battery type. Note that if you are charging LiFe batteries, you have to press a button to set that type. The voltage tells the charger the battery type because the maximum voltage for NiMh and NiCd battery maximum voltage is less than the minimum for Liion. If the battery is excessively discharged, It may start as a NiMh or NiCd battery type. The charger defaults to 500mA charge rate and you can press the button to select 1A. I left the current at 500mA. Charging slower is good unless you are in a hurry. The display alternates between the voltage and the current during the charge and a timer shows how long the battery has been charging. A display of a battery with bars shows the state of charge. All the batteries charged as expected. They were at different charge levels and they all charged correctly. The charger stopped the charge cycle when the battery was full. The display was easy to read and the information was also easy to understand for me anyway. I charge a lot of batteries and use a number of different chargers so I am very familiar with them. This look like they work OK and I hope they last. I only used these on AC power.

I originally purchased this to charge my Li-ion batteries (18650). My old charger only supported Ni-MH and Ni-Cd.This charger supports 4.2V, 3.7V and 1.5V batteries in a range of sizes.I am a technical person and find all the information on the LCD really helpful. My old charger only has a Red/Green LED for each cell. This shows the cell voltage, charge current, elapsed charging time and an indication of %charged for each cell.Default charging current is 500mA, but you can select 1000mA if you are in a hurry. (I use the lower setting whenever possible, because it is easier on the batteries.)The charging of the two cells is completely independent. One can be a Ni-Cd and the other a Li-ion if you want. Both can charge at 1000mA too.I liked this so much, I bought one for my son too.Universal input power supply in inside the unit, so it uses a standard cord and not a big blocky "wall wart".Easy to use. Automatically identified the type of battery when it is installed.

The 18650 battery charger works perfectly and is a great addition to my setup. It charges batteries efficiently and has been reliable for all my charging needs. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a dependable charger for 18650 batteries.

I bought this along with some Enloop AA and AAA batteries for my flashlights and wireless keyboard/trackball. Later I picked up some Anvow AAAA batteries for my tablet pen.The AA and AAA batteries seem to be working great - charge them overnight and they last for weeks of use in the wireless stuff. I bought the rechargeable for the flashlight as it seems to eat batteries. The AAs seem to last about as long as the alkalines I was buying. The AAAAs on the other had - it charges them, but when I put them in the pen, I get stuttering and very quickly start getting Low Battery messages on the tablet. Something I noticed; is when the charger says the AAAA is full charged, if I take it out, then put it back, the charger says it needs more charging. So I'm not sure it's charging those fully and I don't know why. Since they're a different brand, that could be the issue.

I acquired this charger to recharge 18650 Li-ion batteries but I find myself using it for NiCd and NiMH batteries as well. It handles a wide variety of battery sizes and types well. The display provides very useful information: the battery type (which is auto-detected), the charging amperage, the current voltage level of each battery, and the time that each battery has been charging. A graphic displays the approximate percentage of charge, in five levels; this is handy for estimating the remaining time required to fully charge a battery. The entire process operates automatically; as long as the battery type is one that is supported by the charger, simply loading a battery is all that is required. The charger determines the battery type and sets the charging parameters accordingly. The quality and durability are good and the charger comes with both an AC (110 v) wall cord and a DC (12 v) charger. Overall, this charger is a good value that works really well.

This charger seems to be working very well. Does take a while to charge the battery though but that’s fine..

I purchased this charger so that I can easily recharge special (18650) batteries. This works well with these types of batteries as well as a variety of rechargeable units. This has a very user-friendly interface that automatically displays the status once you insert a battery. This will also show you the charge level and progress, and the display will automatically turn off after a while when there are no batteries in either of the chambers. The only annoyance is that the display is always lit whenever any battery is in either chamber, even if it is fully charged, which can be a little disruptive when charging batteries overnight. For this reason, you will need to put it in a place where you cannot see it while you are sleeping.
