This item had no instruction at all explaining how to install. This item is slightly different then the original and should have had instructions or direction to go with it. This time you fell down on the job and I have paid for something I cant use.

I bought this as a replacement for a mini-bike whose original monitor's battery compartment got crusted up with old battery acid. It ships from China, so took 9 days to arrive, but I think that's pretty good time for international shipping. Note that there are no instructions whatsoever with the package - no badly drawn diagrams, no poorly translated English, nothing. Also, the battery polarity isn't indicated; maybe it's self-evident, but fyi - you need 2 AAA batteries, and the negative end goes where the spring is. There are hand grips if you have an exercise bike with handles, and then you can apparently hook up the heartrate monitor, but I only have pedals, so didn't use those. There are also two cords I didn't use; I just plugged the cord coming out of my mini-bike into one of the jacks on the back of this replacement monitor, and that worked. This monitor is much larger than my original, but I like the big numbers!

I rate this product a zero because it doesn't work. I had to connect wires which wasn't as easy as it looks. Then once I got the hooked I put batteries in and it did not work. I tried several different brands of batteries and still did not work.

I bought this as a replacement for my broken bike computer. As another reviewer said, the box it came in was open and the contents were streaming outside the boxI put the batteries in and the display works. This kit looks nothing like the picture shown. The picture shows a certain rectangle connector. This did not come with that connector, but several other connectors along with handle pads where a person can take their heart rate on the handlebars. I am scared to buy another kit and that is how that kit will come too. So now I am going to have to cut off the old connector from my broken computer and splice it on this new computer cord with a wire stripper tool and adhesive heat shrink wrap tubing. It took us a while to get it hooked up But we finally got it right. It did not come with a bracket even though I asked and was told it did come with it.So I have it taped on for now.All and all it’s ok.
