I'm quite impressed by this piece. At first, I was disappointed because this is a plastic piece, not metal as the original. I thought this was an original Toto, but it's not. I'm usually wary of internet knock-offs.Anyways, once I tried to install, it wouldn't fit the tank hole. The instructions suggest to remove the rubber that comes with it. After that, it was slightly lose, but once I adjusted the chain to a tighter configuration, everything fell into place.The piece is nice and it's been working for a month now. To tell you the truth, it looks and feels like the original, even though the handle is made of plastic.All in all, although the installation was not a "breeze", everything was fairly easy to put together . The new handle works, feels, and looks nice.If you need a cheap solution to replace your current original, this will work. I have used it for only 2 months, so durability is yet to be tested. Nevertheless, there are no signs that it won't last for at a couple of years.

I found this at my doorstep today after a having a few at my boyfriend's house. I needed this done so I made an attempt and I DID IT! its extremely simple to install, and I flushed it a couple times to make sure. Its GOOD! Note I had to bend it a tad to get it out of the way of a few other components of the tank, but it is quite bendable so I didn't have any issues. Toilets are quite simple machines I've found... THIS IS GREAT! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY

Nothing is !It's annoying than a toilet that runs without stopping once flushed. My side-of-tank handle would stick down and not return up. Since I was stuck at home (at the time I needed the handle I was under quarantine due to another who tested positive for COVID-19) I bought this replacement figuring it "would do" until I could find a good replacement. It turned out to be EXACTLY what I needed! The mechanism works really well. The action is smooth with no need for hard pressure to operate, a need when one has small grandchildren. It came with a rubber washer to deal the inside of the hole for the handle, but it also came with a rubber gasket around the piece that fits through that hole to make it an extremely secure and waterproof fit. My cast hole was snug enough to not need the gasket, but not all toilet tanks are cast as correctly as mine. The gasket assured it can be used on any tank using this type of side flush handle. It is well nade, works well, and is well worth the price!

Ordered this product in October 2019 (for main bathroom). Handle broke November 6, 2024. It was easy to install which makes it even better!

Bought this in November of 2020 and the arm on the inside of the tank has already rusted through. Because of this the chain fell off, got stuck in the flapper and made my toilet constantly run. Very poor quality. Should last longer than 3.5 years. Use stainless!! Avoid!!

A fairly cheaply made product. Lightweight plastic. Does the job, but again, feels cheap. You do indeed get what you pay for.

Fits perfectly. You might have to remove the rubber washer by the handle in order for it to fit through the hole but thats no problem. Flushes flawlessly. Great construction with metal, not plastic going through the flush rod to hold it in place . My original one was plastic and it broke.

The biggest problem with this handle is that the plastic handle is flimsy and probably won't survive the stress of pulling the metal lever very long. I predict it will break within a month or two. My advice is splurge a bit more money and buy a metal handle/lever which will last a few years instead.Also the ad is somewhat misleading in that it shows the rod arm bent at 90 degrees. This is easily done, but it arrives with the rod straight out - not bent as it should be for a front handle.Despite this I gave a 3 star to be fair, given the cheap price (you get what you pay for).However, that was $11 dollars flushed down the toilet for me !!!!
