We have Toto toilets in all four of our bathrooms. We recently remodeled a bathroom and replaced all our chrome fixtures with brushed gold fixtures. There was nothing wrong with our current Toto toilet but the OEM chrome handle clashed with our new fixtures. I ordered this one in gold and was hoping it matched our fixtures. It matched very well. Our new fixtures are a brushed gold and the replacement toilet handle is a polished gold. However, the difference between our new fixtures and this handle wasn't substantial and was much better than the chrome one it replaced so we kept it. I easily replaced the OEM handle in about 5 minutes. It’s been installed now for about a month and is working perfectly. Zero complaints. An easy 5-stars for color, ease-of-installation, and quality.

I have 2 Toto toilets. The Toto brand flush handles aren't as good as this replacement. As other reviews mention, the part that usually fails is reinforced in this brand. I hope they last at least a few years. Discard the black rubber before installing; it's not needed.

This handle was a perfect replacement for the worn, malfunctioning original handle on our Toto toilet.

I have the st743s toilet and have these observations. First, the rubber seal or whatever the black rubber ring is will not fit into the hole of the toilet tank. Next, without the rubber ring, the handle will not go all the way in. But the biggest problem is that the lever tends to get stuck in a position that keeps the red flapper up, so it won’t go down. There is at least one other review mentioning this issue. I will be returning. Not recommended.

It did not go into the square hole at first. I compared the old one with this replacement and decided the square rubber ring was not needed. Then it fitted into the hole and the rest was easy. The instruction does not say the ring is optional. That could be some sort of Toto tank manufacturing changes as mine was installed 18 years ago.

Bought generic adjustable ones at a local store and they didn’t lift in the right place, this worked great.

My Toto ST776 was not listed as being compatible with this flush lever, but I gave it a try anyway, and I'm glad I did. Toto does not make a Matte Black lever, so I was hoping to find one. This works perfectly if you are willing to swap the existing Toto brass extension arm for the one that comes with this replacement..In the photo with the two levers side by side, the one on the right is the one that comes with the replacement. As you can see, the lever arm has a crooked shape, while the Toto version on the left is straight. There is only one screw (second photo) that has to be removed to swap the Toto straight arm for the crooked replacement. The Hibbent really is a perfect replacement -- in appearance and the mechanics.
