I had recently realized that my dryer drum rollers had went bad and replaced them. After the repair, the dryer wouldn’t turn on, at all, and it turns out that when dryer would turn on but not spin, it caused the thermal fuse to overheat and blow out. I found this replacement piece and it came quickly. The repair was quick and easy; it was as simple as removing the bolts on the back of the dryer, unplugging the old fuse, and plugging this one up. From what I can tell, the piece is high quality and felt/ looked the same as the old fuse that had blown. Dryer turned right on and is working beautifully!

Easy install. Took 10 to 15 mins. Pic is the heater working. after I installed thye fuse, the dryer heater comes on after 30sec to a minute after you turn on the dryer. You can hear a relay click when the heater ignites vers before nothing. I also tested the fuse with an ohm meter and the old fuse was blown. I have zero experience with workjing on dryers. I watched a youtube video and found this is a common problem. All you need is a 1/4 socket.

My dryer stopped working and after doing some research found that a potential issue could be a dryer fuse. Rolled the dice and ordered a replacement for my whirlpool dryer. I did the replacement and this did fix the problem, so money well spent. Taking apart a dryer is not always easy but managed to have everything completed with an hour.

This part works as advertised. It is a bit difficult to install. This is the third or fourth one i have replaced. They were from different Amazon sellers. Cheap part that does not last. Glad I don't have to pay over $100 for a service call to replace a $2 part.

Came quickly and fixed my whole problem with my dryer. Took less than five minutes to put it on. Save me a repair man or even buying a new dryer!

Pros: It fixed the problem and it was available next day.Cons: Notice the lower notch in the replacement. It appears to have left over flashing from manufacturing process. you will need to clean this up with an exacto blade. Make sure it sit flush in the sheet metal.Do Not! install without that tab holding on. you could get failure to blow when over heating or if too loose arcing to the back cover.
