These work great on our whirlpool washer. The original filter on our whirlpool washer, hot water inlet, where the hose connects to the washer was plugged up. The washer didn't get any hot water. I didn't know the washer even had water filters before this. I did learn the old filters seem to deteriorate over time and become brittle and are pretty much destroyed when pulled out so reuse isn't likely. Get these before you start the project. Very easy to replace.
