It works well but when it comes to thicker meat it is hard to shred . But for smaller ones it works great

This product works well, but you have to cut the chicken or meat into slices first, no more than 1" thick. It also does not hold much - the equivalent of one 1" thick slice of chicken breast. Honestly, by the time I take a whole chicken and slice up the chicken breast, it is not such a big deal to me to just manually cut it up. However, if you really want shredded chicken, this is a good tool. For pork, this would work, but if you slow cook pork, it is tender enough to just shred with a fork. Dishwasher-safe. Good value.

I used to use my Kitchen aid and felt it pulverized the chicken. This is so easy. Love it.
