For beginning learners, we suggest you start practicing using the tool from some low places (eg. below 1 meter), once you have mastered the way, it'd quite easy for you to conquer any trees. Choose a softer bark, the tree will not fall off the skin.

Try to choose those trees with diameter of 10 inches to 20 inches to practice. Should you start learning on trees with very hard skins, it would be quite difficult to make it.
Once you have mastered the way, you can climb any trees like a cat.

Comfortable tree climbing spike, the lining is thick and soft, it doesn't make my legs uncomfortable at all. Oh, and the included scissors and saw are also of good quality, just right for my garden!
