My Pit Boss is around 4 years old. The fire-pot has been rusting out for a while and I knew I needed to replace that and bought this kit because eventually the other parts would need to be replaced. Good thing I did because smoke started coming out of my pellet hopper soon after receiving the parts kit. Not only was my fire-pot bad but the auger motor also gave out. I replaced everything in about an hour or so and now it's working like new.

Steel fire pot is really nice and a much thicker and stronger metal than the original one. Replacement blower fan and auger motor are direct swap out and seems better quality than the original ones. Used on 3 year old Pit Boss KC Combo

I changed the fire pot the igniter the other day and these parts fit good and worked well. I did not change the fan or the auger motor. I saved them as spare parts for when I do need them. I bought them a few months ago because I was having some issues I needed to fix. And it finally warmed up enough to change the parts I needed too.

The pieces were easy to install. You might as well start by taking the entire smoker apart. This "rebuild" fixed several of my issues. My only complaint is that the lighter stopped working after the 3rd use. I ordered a 2 pack, on Amazon, and the smoker is working great, now.

Bought a Pit boss at a garage sale and It was not working when purchased . After research on Youtube I found auger motor was out . I came to Amazon and ordered this set . Replaced all the parts and pellet grill works perfect. Easy to install and very satisfied with this product . Highly recommend

Item quit after 2 uses!!Make sure you get the proper RPM rating on the auger drive to match your grill specifications. This one is listed as being 2 RPM, which matches many Pit Boss pellet grills. Installation was straight forward. Once the drive assembly has been removed from the auger, you may have to use large pliers or channel.-locks to “unscrew†the auger out of the feed tube if it has become bound up with pellets. The kit comes with new fasteners for the burn pot. To remove the burn pot, remove the old screws/bolts and gently shift the pot off of the feed tube… away from the pellet feed tube. Once removed from the feed tube, turn the pot about 1/4 turn left or right to clear the igniter. Tilt and rotate the burn pot to remove it from the opening. Remove the screw that secures the igniter to the burn pot, making note of the depth the igniter was placed in the original pot. Tie string to the plug before removing the whole pot/igniter assembly. Use the string to attach and pull the new igniter back through. Put the new igniter into place in the burn pot. Place the burn pot turned 1/4 turn left into the opening and then re-align the feed tube. Secure the burn pot with the included fasteners. Put the auger assembly back into place. Test the assembled grill. Note: You will have to prime the grill feed tube quite a lot depending on your grill model it will take some time.***Update: Drive motor stopped after two uses!!***Buyer Beware!! After less than 1 year with only two uses, the drive motor stopped feeding pellets! I recommend that you do NOT but this item!

Just finished installing and everything works great, my smoker is better than before. However, it doesn't come with instructions. The installation is pretty simple after watching a few videos online. Here's some pointers, 1. Make sure your hopper is as empty as possible, its going to drain everywhere if you don't. 2. Make sure you have zip ties because you need to do some cable management to make sure it doesn't get in the way of the fans. 3. The fan is quieter than the stock one, but if you don't hear it running as soon as you turn it on, something is blocking it, take it apart (after you remove the pellets again) and check the cables. 4. You really on only need a screw driver, alan keys, and needle nose pliers, all things you probably have in your house. 5. I googled the vendor name and didn't find anything so if you look for online instructions I hope you have better luck than me.Would be 5 star if there was instructions, otherwise good value for money.

All parts fit perfect the only problem was the igniter worked for a couple minutes then threw a code so I had to put the old one back in. Other then that everything else works as it should
