Installation Method:

Bought this as a gift for my daughter who has to deal with snow. She said she this product is very easy to use, put on and remove. The only discouraging piece was leaking. After leaving her car for 5 days between on and off again snow and rain, she opened her car to find water inside. My advice, if you are going to be gone for several days, leave a towel inside.

I love the idea of this, it doesn’t snow like that where I’m from so I couldn’t tell you how well it does under that type of weather but I got it because the ice on my windshield was an inconvenience. The things the weather varies in North Carolina, I don’t really know how it’ll be like until the next morning so this discouraged me from using it 😅 because there’d be no frost the next morning when I did out this on my car, so I gave up and on the days I wouldn’t remember to put it on or id be to lazy those days in particular I’d wake up to ice on my car so i got annoyed and just don’t use it anymore. And just like other any other Amazon product or gadget, this can be really useful if you put it to use but I could have done without it and should’ve just got an ice scraper because it does take a bit to set up if your one person and have to be going back and forth from left to right adjusting it to your car. The ends have small magnets so it stays on your car and it has two hooks on each side that go latched onto the two front tires, and it has an elastic buckle that your out together but that goes inside your car doors so it would be a hassle for someone trying to steal It. I do recommend if you get bad weather and your planning on using it consistently but a snow scraper can do you well. Great product overall, it seems they thought of everything with this one 😄

Works very well on my Subaru Outback. I did break one of the plastic hooks the first year. I used a small bungie cord. I am a traveling healthcare worker.This prevents me from having to scrape ice off of my windows. I just broke a strap due to pulling on it after than the tarp when trying to clear about 6 inches of snow off of my windshield. Totally my fault.I just ordered a second one, and will convert the first one to cover my side windows from ice storms. Just had major snow storm in Jersey. Worked well in Ohio and Northern Illinois storms over the years.Does collect rain water and needs placed in a bucket when wet to prevent leaking in the vehicle, but works great for ice and snow!

I have a Jeep renegade and the mirror covers are too small. It’s a little finicky to put it on the car, the hook straps don’t really have a good spot to attach to. It also holds more water than expected. The first time I used it I shook off all the snow and put it on the passenger side floor. By the time I went to put it back on, it left behind 2-3 cups of water in my rubber floormat.

So I've never owned a windshield cover before. I've been scraping ice and snow off my car forever, but I finally decided to buy one of these once I got a newer vehicle. This is SO easy to put on- much easier than other windshield covers I've seen. The hooks on the bottom corners that hold the cover in place by attaching to the wheels... outstanding. There are a few magnets on the very top of the cover to hold it in place, and the top corners fold inside your vehicle and then can be buckled together. This creates completely full coverage. Having the sideview mirror covers attached is also nice. Only downside I do have to say is that upon my first use, the tightening bead on one of the sideview mirror covers came off. I can still tighten it closed easily, though, so I'm content to still give this product 5 stars. I would recommend.
