I love the idea here but the execution could be better. The caps can and do come off, but it still works without them. The cords are thick and therefore not very stretchy. I love the idea of carabiners but these are not super sturdy. They are much easier to connect than the typical hook design. I like that there are 6 to a pack. They have a slightly unpleasant smell that I hope will dissipate with time and use.

These adjustable bungee cords have been a lifesaver for my son. He has used them several times since I gave them to him and they are perfect to be used in in the bed of his truck. He loves that they are adjustable that way he can secure any of the items he puts in the back of his bed without hassle.

This review is for the Adjustable Bungee Cords with Hooks, 6 Pack Heavy Duty Outdoor Carabiner Bungee Cord, Black Super Elastic Bungee Straps Easily Adjust from 7" to 36", Great for Cargo, Camping, Bike Racks, Tents.I have others from this brand that are longer and adjustable, so I knew I would like these too! For the record the others I have are the 48 inch adjustable with the carabiners, I was able to stretch one of them to over 5 feet, with a struggle LOL, and hook it. It's holding well still! Very happy with it! These are heavy duty all black bungees and are very tight and rebound well. They do stretch, but remember the heavy duty and they're tight! LOL. I LOVE that they're adjustable and easy to use! Just pull the end out of the lockdown, adjust it and pull it back flat into the locking mechanism. Be careful and do not pull the end into the adjusting roller as the little rubber ender will pop off and there is nothing to stop the bungee from pulling all the way out. If it pops off/out you can thread it back up, put it back on and use it, it won't be ruined.I have hooks I've kept from bungees that have worn out, I keep them all to reuse. If you don't want the carabiners on the ends you can use S hooks, spring snap hooks either single or double ended... Oh and nice carabiners on these too! If you break or wear one of these out you get the bonus of carabiners to use for other stuff too! I just received these bungees, and 14 minutes later, I am so impressed that I am writing a positive review.I would actually be inclined to call the adjustable bungee ingenious. They are very creative in how they adjust with the least effort. They seem quite strong, and will be excellent for multiple uses. They are of the fairly conventional thickness of most bungees. They have good elasticity, and the hooks are also tremendous, in that they are carabiner-type hooks, with the flipping end that closes entirely, so rather than the typical open-ended hook ends of most bungees, these also have the clever feature of once hooked, not coming off or loose until one releases it. I love that as well. The only negative is that I have not yet had time to utilize them beyond stretching them and adjusting and readjusting them to ascertain whether they hold once they are readjusted. They definitely are holding very well, as I have exerted a good deal of pull upon them.They most definitely seem as strong as the ones that I have been using over the years, yet infinitely better in that they have adjustable lengths, and the ends will not loosen if they have a bit of slack in them. Those two features make them far superior to the typical open-ended nonadjustable bungees.I would absolutely give these my highest recommendation! A tremendous improvement over conventional bungees! You will LOVE these!

These Bungee Cords with Hooks are pretty cool! I was more excited about them until I tested it. The 24-inch adjustable length and easy-to-use carabiner hooks make securing items a breeze. What a great and innovative idea. They are not very stretchy because they are heavy-duty. The 6-pack offers great value for money. They have a nice bag for storage, and actually fit with some room to spare. Comes with an owners manual with company contact info. I like that they are adjustable, and this feature is really easy to use.Note: Tested with it extended all the way and the little black cap popped right off (see photo). Don't extend it to the cap, you'll have to keep it folded into the secured area or the cap will pop off. The caps are simply set on the end and not a deal breaker if gone. I was able to thread it back through the plastic holder and get the cap back on, so still fully useable. The other end is very secure, which is the important end.Overall, I think they work just fine. Use them on shorter spaces, or double them up for a longer bungee. I can't give four or five stars because of the cap popping off within minutes of having it. However, since I was able to fix it, I'm still giving three stars, and feel confident recommending these bungees. I'll be adding these to my camping gear.
