I had seen a lot of reviews on this bracket prior to purchase and can say the majority of issues people are having is due to either an unfamiliarity with tools or just a lack of common sense. Some reviews say it's difficult to put together but it was easy peasy i think max I put in 8 screws and it took all of 5 minutes to assemble. I just went off of the picture on the box.Note: There will be extra bolts and bushings because some grinders have a larger thread for the handles so that is normal.Others reviews were saying it cuts wrong etc. Well here's a tip. Use a speed square to check that your blade is at 90 degrees vertical so you can make the necessary adjustments. I then clamped a squared block of wood in the vise and butted it up to the blade get the horizontal squared up as well. As long as you make sure your blade is square and you tighten it all up you should have no problem.Be gentle with the handle as you come down. Let the blade cut the metal on its own and do not try to force it. Putting too much force when you come down will cause uneven cuts, unnecessary strain on the bracket and spindle and potentially shatter your disc leading to injury. It should go without saying ALWAYS USE YOUR PPE AND USE EYE PROTECTION!!!Even with the guards there is still a risk of an errant metal splinter flying back at you. That being said this is for your DIYer if you need something heavy duty for shop use then this is not the item for you.I like that it was green and matched my Ryobi cordless grinder and the thread on the handle nut matched my original handle so I swapped that instead for a more OEM look.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and will be using this to cut angle iron for a smoker I'm working on this weekend.Recommended 5/5 stars

For a five star must be perfect. The instructions weren’t great as some have stated, so this is the reason for a four star. That said, it was easy to figure out by simply looking at the picture on the box. Regarding the product, it was better quantity than I expected. I will recommend this to my friends.

Great design, not cheaply made! Only recommendation is to have slider arm swivel side to side! That isd the only thing I feel is missing otherwise, great unit!

The assembly instructions are in fact useless. Just follow the pictures. As for use cases I am not sure there is a good one you can’t solve some other way - that’s the real issue here. Other tools do the job better. This stand is not accurate enough to do what you think it will.Flaws include basic clearance issues. Trying to cut square tubing the tool collides with the material before cutting all the way through. Then you have to flip and or rotate the material and risk a sloppy cut. If the power button is on the face of the tool it will be next to impossible to reach as the mounting mechanism blocks that side. There is also way too much adjustment to the point that you may never get and maintain a square cut. The angle adjustment is extremely tight, hard to reach with material in the clamp, and ultimately inaccurate. It should also tilt both ways, -45 not just 45. I think the only way this tool works would be to install a blade way too big. A 5â€+ blade in a 4-4.5†tool. Then we have little basic issues like vibration shaking loose bolts (bolts which are the result of cheap design decisions.) 4 different allen keys for the various bolts.Ultimately the value for the money isn’t here. It is far quicker and less frustrating to just get a metal blade in your circular saw.

This stand is built well enough that I will give it 5 stars. There may be others out there that are more suited for "industrial" jobs; but, for the work for which I'm doing, It has served me very well. The "sliding" feature is a MUST for me; so, If anyone reading this post is looking for such a stand, I HIGHLY recommend that you buy one with the "sliding" feature.

If you use an Angle Grinder for multiple repeating cuts this is the attachment for you.Had to cut 50 aluminum fence pickets and this stand made it a breeze ! Then used it for Steel right angleiron with great resultsWell constructed and held my Ryobi 4 1/2 inch grinder perfectly. With the many mounting options I think this will hold many brands. But it is important that the grinder has a top threaded hole in it.

I don't have a very steady hand and have trouble cutting a straight line. This is a great help when I need a precise cut but it is rather inconvenient to adjust the fence when I need an angle. It was also hard to do the initial setup to ensure the grinder is square to the base. I don't regret this purchase but I will try to just cut freehand whenever possible. The base is pretty sturdy and has a decent weight to it so it feels reasonably sturdy and stable. So far I have only used it for cutting porcelain tiles but that is the whole reason I bought it. A decent tool for the average DIYer.

Not compatible with Dewalt Angle Grinder DCG412-XE. See marked for grinding off for Dewalt Angle Grinder DCG412-XE to be 90-degree perpendicular. Cut is about 3mm slant. See photo attached.
