My speakers for my desktop computer don't seem to last long, and they're cumbersome. I bought this speaker soundbar for my husband's computer when the speakers stopped working. He watches a lot of YouTube videos, so he was missing having sound.I wanted something that didn't have so many cables, and didn't take up so much space. I saw these for $17.98, plus they offered an $8 off coupon, so I couldn't pass them up. The arrived really fast, and all I did was plug the cable into a USB port, and they worked without any further set-up. I couldn't clip on to the bottom of the monitor, but it clipped on nicely to the side, and there is just the one thin USB cable. The quality of the sound is probably better than the old dome speakers.I bought a new monitor for my desktop computer, and I bought this same speaker so I wouldn't have all the clutter from the other type of speaker. I am trying to learn a new language online, and the quality of the sound from this little speaker is great. I also paid around $10 for my speaker with a coupon offered by the seller.We will see how long these last over time, but I couldn't be more pleased with them. The price today is $18.98, plus they offer a $3 coupon. I was lucky to get the price I did, but $16 is still a good price for how well this speaker works.

I've been surprized at the negative comments regarding sound quality. The sound is clear and clean and eminently suitable to listen to youtube instructional videos. It's not sutable for orchestral music, that is not what these speakers are for. Music in general is adequate and thats about it.Usb "A"connection to your computer.Pros: Spoken sound is clear and clean. Inexpensive. Light weight and suitable for laptopsCons: No speaker controls for on/off or volume if that is what you want.For the price, it's a decent unit,but don't expect it to be concert soundSince the speaker is on the monitor or on the desktop, you have to stop what you are doing to get to any controls that are on the speaker itself, so, I personally find it easier and faster to move the mouse to the system tray, click on the speaker icon and scroll the wheel up or down for volume or click the speaker icon to mute. That technique keeps my work flow moving even when i use powered speakers.

This clamps to the top, sides and bottom of any monitor.While according to the ad, it won't work off of a TV. But TVs usually use sound bars.This will work off of an iPad, Android tablet, and smart phones via OTG adapter....Which includes ....Android Micro OTGLightning OTGUSB C OTGFor Android you must enable debug mode by tapping the software version 5 times.For iOS, turn on accessory port.This plugs into any laptop's USB port, MacBook and is plug n playNo apps, drivers, or anything to install.When I connected it to my iPad 8 Gen, via OTG SD card reader that has a USB, this worked, and it works.iPad speakers are pretty good, but harder to hear for things like Facebook's instant messenger call, and FaceTime.Everything is routed through the USB cable. No extra cords needed.And the trade off, because this is ***NOT BLUETOOTH**** and there's no ***INTERNAL BATTERY***The trade off is much faster battery drain. You will need a expansion hub with at least 45watt charging (aka PW).iPad Gen 8s also accepts 20 watt charging and takes approx 2 hours and 30 minutes.But for me I choose to use an iPad, like a laptop.This speaker sounds very good.

This speaker is small and easy to hook up. I'm super impressed with the sound quality from such an affordable speaker. There's one caveat that isn't listed in the documentation - my windows wasn't activated and I couldn't use the speaker until I did. Just keep that in mind.

These computer speakers are fantastic! The sound quality is clear and well-balanced, making music, videos, and calls sound great. Installation was a breeze—just plug and play. I love the clamp design, which securely attaches to the bottom of my monitor, saving desk space. Only con so far: no volume button on the speak itself but I mainly control my volume through my computer so it doesn't bother me. Highly recommend!

It works fine and with the clip you have plenty of options on placement. I’m surprised at the sound quality considering the small size. Very pleased.

The little speaker hooks up easily and starts working right away. I have a Samsung monitor so the only place I could mount it was on the upper side and it sits at the top so a portion of the speaker is taller than the monitor. I am not thrilled with the sound. It works and will be okay for most things but if you are looking for "great" sound and some bass this isn't the one that's going to provide you with that. I am aware that it isn't expensive or big but I have an Onn that I paid $10 for a couple of years ago that has bass and really sounds good so it can be done. This one seemed a good idea because it could mount to your monitor and be out of the way. I recommend it if you aren't looking for great sound and since it doesn't have to be charged that's a bonus.

100 x better than my laptop speakers. Don't get the impression that these rival some room filling $$$ speakers but for sitting at my desk and listening to some tunes, it's perfect. Super easy install: plug into USB port, clip to Monitor and turn on the music! I'm grooving to Barnstorm as I write...

I bought this speaker for my laptop to replace the tiny, tiny, speakers it came with. Now I'm able to fully enjoy a video call.It fits perfect over the laptop screen, however it tends to block the microphones of the laptop. I wish that the speaker was a bit further from the clip so it would clear the microphones.Or, I wish it actually had built in microphones to make it an all-in-one conference solution.Sound quality is decent especially at lower volumes, but it would never measure up to a good set of desktop speakers, so I wouldn't recommend adding this speaker as a permanent desktop one.

Nearly canceled when I found new monitor was too thick for clip.However clip acts a stand and speaker fits neatly into V base of my monitorwhich I found was preferable to using the clip.Easy to setup sound not too powerful,adequate for U-tube and conversationsNice size black colour.Recommend for light use
