I bought this as the description shows it working to hold the back of a sofa up from a sofa sleeper - but what arrived works in reverse - you cannot pull the sofa back up and lean against it as the hinge does not hold in this direction. It is backwards. Product needs a better description to show which version goes which way. This is the second version I have purchased both with inaccurate descriptions.

I had been looking for hinges like this for nearly a year now. I guess maybe I didn't know what they were called but these are exactly what I was looking for. They easily install with a few screws and easily adjust with just a pull. I am so happy I found these.

Un canapé, ça coute cher, aussi, lorsque le notre a donné des signes de faiblesse, nous hésitions sacrément à en racheter un neuf.En étudiant le problème, nous nous sommes dit que le simple changement des charnières devrait régler le problème, mais voilà , les constructeurs ne semblent pas enclins à vendre des pièces de rechange.Alors nous avons cherché et trouvé ces charnières, qui, sans être des modèles d'origine, semblaient convenir en taille et en forme.Et effectivement, après une pose, pas trop compliquée si vous faites attention au sens dans lequel étaient les charnières en place, notre canapé a retrouvé une seconde jeunesse.Les charnières sont solides, avec un mécanisme puissant et qui se bloque et se débloque sans souci.Si la taille vous convient, vous pouvez les acheter sans problème.
