Played this game twice. Everything is as it should be. Love the turn table. The instructions are very vague. Game play is fun and easy. The scoring is alittle more difficult. Or maybe I’m having a hard time understanding.

We played this game tonight with our 6-year old and 10-year old and had so much fun. The stacking component made this a fun alternative to Scrabble and is great for practicing vocab and spelling skills. We love that the board swivels to make it easy for each person at the table to take a turn. It’s a fun asset to our homeschooling lifestyle.

Upwords is a really fun and challenging game and we highly recommended it.When we first opened the game and I saw the plastic bag included to hold the letter tiles I commented to my wife, "well, this isn't going to last long" and, sure enough, it didn't even last a week before it got a hole in it.To be clear, it's just my wife and I who have played the game and we certainly weren't rough on the bag. It just didn't hold up. Fortunately we have a cloth bag we can use instead.Again, great game. Poor quality bag for tiles.

Fun word strategy game, transforming words into new words, different ways to earn points, and more. It's well made and the swivel board is a big plus. This has different scoring from scrabble. It's more about thinking creatively about transforming words into new words or changing tense. Scoring is different from scrabble as are some of the rules, which seem to be designed to enable upward transformations, for example, words cannot be made plural so an "S" can't be tagged onto the end of a word, it stretches the player to use an S at the beginning of a word to create a new word. It takes time to learn the rules and we discovered violating them restricted the opportunities to build upwards. This has become one of our go-to games! Very happy with this purchase.

I love this game so much more than scrabble. It lets you be more creative with creating new words on top of existing ones on the board.Another great feature is you can play this solo - it's rare to find a single person board game.It's great for anyone wanting to exercise their brain, and it always feels fresh from mixing up the letters each game.It's also designed well physically. The letter pieces fit into the board and don't slide around and same goes as you build new words on top of existing - the letters fit in one another.I cannot recommend this game enough. I love it! And I'm going to be buying it as gifts for others.

I played this game last year at Christmas with my family. I loved it so much that I bought one for myself. The tiles lay easily on top of each other to change words out. The board swivels nicely. Not many rules, so make some up yourself, especially when it comes to "That's not a word!" It was also our "go to" game during this past Christmas season. If you like word games, you'll love this.

I first got this game from a charity shop, I gave it to my mum years ago.This game was a bit pricey, but I LOVE the game. I enjoy it better than scrabble.I play it with two of my children who are both now in their 20s. Play it and see what you think.

We were too excited to play, but that's when we found that, there were alphabets from A-L only. Other alphabets were missing from the box. Product returned.Update: placed the second order n it's perfectly fine with all the alphabets now

I just love this game! At Christmas when the family gets together, this is the perfect game to bring young and old together for a game that is both educational and fun. Teaches techno addicted children how to interact with adults.
