Purchased this for my young niece. It was very pretty and nicely made. That being said, this is a coat that is meant to be worn over dressy clothing. It is not meant for warmth.

My granddaughter loves this coat, but she is a slender average 10-year-old girl and the size 14 through 16 is a good fit for her. The 10 to 12 was too small.

**Update purchased a 3rd coat, L14/16, body is still smaller than the S7/8 we already own. Cute coat, wouldnt buy.** We purchased the S7/8 last year and we're wanting to upgrade to the M10/12 this year. Two coats have been purchased because I thought maybe there was an issue with the first one being incorrectly labeled. Nope, unfortunately their sizing has changed and the M is actually smaller the the S we have. Disappointing.
