Works terrific with our Breville Bambino Plus. Much cheaper than the Breville labelled cleaner and works just as well.

Our city’s water took its toll on our espresso maker until I discovered Cafiza. We were barely getting a trickle of water through the group head. I hoped that using filtered water and cleaning with a brush would make a difference, but the buildup of minerals was terrible.I’m happy to say Cafiza tablets restored the machine to its original flow! It loosened up and dissolved the hard water residues effectively.

I purchased these to clean our Keurig 2.0 K475, that had quit working properly. I dissolved two tablets in warm water the added it to the water tank and filled it to the point where it would pull the water through. After I was sure the solution was in the tubing I unplugged the machine and let it set for about an hour. I have a reusable carafe filter that I use for cleaning so I put it in and ran the rest of the solution through. I then ran three more tanks of fresh water thou it, then I cleaned the needles as directed by Keurig. I could not believe how this cleaned the Keurig, it is working like new. I then decided to try it on my saeco primea ring cappuccino automatic espresso machine. My machine didn’t need descaling but it has a coffee cleaning cycle so I ran this through just like I had in the Keurig. After the liquid was running though I paused the machine and let it set for an hour then started it again and watched all the dark water coming through I ran two cleaning cycles and then two more with just water at this point it was running clear and clean. This stuff is great and inexpensive enough to be able to use weekly to avoid any problems.

I've been using the Urnex Cafiza Espresso Machine Cleaning Tablets for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The compact packaging makes it easy to store, and I love that the tablets don't take up much space in my kitchen. These tablets are incredibly effective at cleaning my espresso machine, leaving it spotless after every use. But what sets them apart is their versatility. I've also used these tablets to clean bottles and mugs with great success. They dissolve easily and thoroughly clean hard-to-reach areas, making my drinkware look brand new.The tablet form is extremely convenient and user-friendly, eliminating the mess and hassle often associated with powders. I simply drop a tablet into the water reservoir or bottle, let it work its magic, and rinse. It's that easy!Overall, I highly recommend these cleaning tablets over the powder option. They deliver excellent results, are easy to use, and have multiple applications beyond just espresso machines. Five stars!

Works great. I use them every week & the first few batches of espresso taste glorious. The best part is there is no aftertaste I used to have by cleaning with water, baking soda or vinegar. Yuck! That vinegary taste was hard to eliminate, even with many water rinses. My first few batches were undrinkable using vinegar, so these cleaning tablets are wonderful. My only fuss is the directions are only in Italian & for some reason, online translators don't translate the IT to English very well. So, after asking an IT friend, here they are... I use 2 tabs for each cleaning for an espresso machine, but you'd only need 1 for a drip coffee maker.1. Fill the tank with the max amount of water & place 1 pill in the glass carafe to let the water run through the espresso machine & dissolve the pill in the carafe. Pour that water into a bowl & soak the metal basket pieces (2 pieces, which hold the ground).2. Do a 2nd round of the aforementioned, then take that hot water with the dissolved pill & pour it into the machine again. Turn on the machine, let the water come through just a bit, then turn it off & let it soak for 30-min.3. After 30-min, turn on the machine to let all the water run out. (Note: I always get a giant puff burst of built-up steam, so be prepared for that... it startled me the 1st time).4. Wash the basket pieces & carafe with hot, soapy water & wipe down the underside metal plate of the machine, where there will be some old coffee buildup.5. Pour the max amount of water into the carafe, pour into the tank & let it run through to thoroughly flush any remnants of remover from interior of machine. Complete 3-4 times.6. Wash, rinse & wipe clean all pieces again. You're now ready for another week of great tasting coffee.Enjoy!

Bought this instead of the more expensive solutions (tablets) that Bosch recommends for de-scaling the Tassimo once the pesky red light comes on... supposedly to prevent "damage to the unit". I've used 2 tablets for approx. 550 ml of water and it worked like a charm. Just be sure to crush the tablets to a powder-like consistence before putting them in the tank... or you'll be waiting a looooong time for them to dissolve (I had to fish them out of the tank after 10-15 minutes, crush them and then put them back in for a much quicker dissolve -- live & learn!)The descaling procedure is simple for the Tassimo (and similar for other brands/units) :1) Remove filter from tank if your unit is so equipped and set it aside (you won't need it for the duration of the entire procedure) . Put +- 550 ml of clean water in the tank along with 2 CRUSHED Urnex Cafiza tablets. Wait for the tablets to dissolve.2) Insert the yellow Tassimo cleaning disk, close the lid and hold the "start" button for at least 3 seconds, then release. The de-scaling procedure will now start and it will last approx. 20 minutes. Be sure that you place a cup in the unit that can hold at the very least 500 ml of water!3) Do not touch anything until the unit finishes it's de-scaling procedure and stops completely all by itself. Once it's finished, the yellow light on the front panel will come on.4) Rinse/wash the tank, put clean water in it and run the standard cleaning procedure 4 times (with the yellow cleaning disk) to flush out the unit. After 4 cleaning cycles, all the chemicals should be rinsed out from the water lines.5) Done! Enjoy your better tasting coffee.
