Used this as a deep clean for my new moccamaster after about a year of steady everyday use - should have used sooner. Took the hardness spots out of the plastic, small spot on the metal filter cover but overall very effective and easy to use. I rinsed 3 times after the initial one. Coffee tastes better and moccamaster looks new!

I purchased Urnex Dezcal to clean / descale my 10-year old Technivorm Moccamaster. The plastic water reservoir had hard water stains and the stainless steel carafe was stained inside from the many years of making coffee. I tried cleaning the carafe many times over the years, including with a stainless steel cleaner, with limited success, I used to use white vinegar to run through the coffee maker - I always felt it did nothing. So, I read the Moccamaster manual to see what they recommend and this product came up. It's simply amazing. Running a single packet through the coffee maker cleaned it out 90% of the way. I used part of a second packet mixed with water for spot cleaning - and now the coffee maker is 99% clean. I'll consider the remaining 1% permanent stains from the years of use. I'll use Dezcal every few months to keep the coffee maker clean. It's really amazing stuff and I find it hard to believe I've lived this long without it. Science is amazing.

Bought this for my oxo 8-cup and Technivorm Moccamaster. Works as indicated and noticed a difference in brew quality after using. Good value in multi-packs.

I dissolved a packet into the carafe of my Breville precision brewer and dumped it in the water reservoir. It started to dissolve a film that was on the inside of the water reservoir, so I helped it by wiping it with a paper towel. As it started the descaling cycle, there was already a bunch of buildup coming loose from inside the coffee maker. At the end of the cycle, the carafe was full of scale/deposits. I ran multiple cycles of clean water through until there was nothing left floating around in the carafe.I can’t say that I noticed a coffee flavor difference afterwards, but it definitely worked at cleaning out my coffee maker. I will be buying it again when I run out

Used it once so far. We have well water so there is not much for a descaler to do. Followed instructions and did not notice any aftereffects.

Wish I had purchased this earlier. I've used the white vinegar method, and this is so much easier and more effective. No smell or weird chemical aroma. My coffee brewer is much cleaner now. Buy it.

I regularly clean and maintain my espresso machine so love that I can order the years worth and have these on hand for when that little cleaning light blinks. No vinegar smell which is great! I will continue to purchase these.

Does the job very well. I use it on all passageways of my espresso machine. Cleans out steamer, boiler, water spout and porta filter & basket. Use it at least three times a year.
