I like it. It is good. It is a classic size and has all the expected features:It is super sturdyNot too heavyHas a good clip with good gripThe handle is the right size and locationThe rubber band is gentle and yet very strong.The surface is smooth and good.NO funny smells like some product of this type have.I highly recommend to air it in the garage, or balcony in dry weather for few days anyway. Although itdoes not smell, all those boards are made of a wood dust and glues that can contain formaldeyhdeso for the sake of health I always air them for a good while before using. They tend to offgass all theirlife and no way around it. But you don't smell it. So again, air it prior to use and thenkeep it it far away for storage from any area where you spend lots of time.

This board is a great size. The handle makes it portable and the clips and rubber band hold your artwork in place. Useful and functional for any artist.

This is my edited review. At first I gave one star because they purposely shipped me a busted board. But I returned that one and received the new one, which was in perfect condition. Even the clasps work perfectly— I knew the first one had clasps that were difficult, but this one shows me the difference between busted and working. I haven't officially used it yet, but I have no doubt it will be precisely what I needed. Thanks!(Original review below)The Amazon box was perfectly fine, but the product had significant damage that would affect how it works. I'm thinking whoever grabbed this at the warehouse must have been in too big a hurry. Maybe it was a robot. I am having it replaced.All that said, if the product hadn't been damaged, I imagine it would have been perfect. The concept is basic and it should do what it's meant to do, no problem. The board is rigid and tough enough for normal use. The hardware appears to be effective and simple. The rubber band seemed rubbery and bandy. Perfect!

I needed a board I could use for various sized paintings and this is perfect. It's big, really big but better too big than not big enough. I'm thinking I need a couple different sizes. It holds the project down flat and it's easy to move around & store!b

I wanted a sturdy board to use on my paint by number addiction. This is absolutely perfect in terms of cost and ease of use for16x20 paintings. I purchased two more to have 3 paintings going at the same time. The handle cutout makes it incredibly useful to change out my paintings from the easel while waiting on paint to dry. Highly recommend.

The hand holds and the paper holds are great. Not to big for 18x24 paper!!

You push down and slightly move the clip towards you. It's easier if you hold it sideways at first ,just to see what you are doing. There's a notch in the top of the clipOtherwise amazing and no damage. It had protectors on the corners.
