Well... have not had an opportunity to use them yet. Still waiting on other Amazon orders for tractor implements. (I use bigger farm tractors than a kabota BX) and my implement stated it takes 3/8 chain.I picked these 3/8-1/2 inch units up because the US cargo website states the first is for grade 70 and the second size is for grade 43. I ordered 3/8 grade 70 because broken chains under load is disheartening some. I've done it.They were definatley about 2/3 the cost i could get them for locally for from the same country of origin so. I decided to give them a shot.They move freely out of the box, I did not see anything to out of the ordinary with them but the ratchet pawl is a little thin and looks like it may break if I get carried away.They are larger than I hoped but "should" fit in my bucket ok. They are fairly heavy as well. Not sure if they will fit in a 5 gallon bucket all that well.Hope they last and I find more than one use for them.

Use to secure 21,000 pound dozer(4). Work well.Chinese made though.If you've ever had a lever type binder snap back at you these are a lot safer.
