About this item

  • This storm door mortise lock with flat slot fits for Larson older storm doors. Not universial, please make sure that you are buying one that has the same spindle hub shape and key cylinder style for your door handle.
  • Not compatible with Larson QuickFit Series replacement mortise lock body with 5-sided or hexagonal spindle hub and cross slot.
  • Handle PZ (center of cylinder to center of handle) is 2-1/2-inch.
  • Faceplate screw holes spaced at 7 inches (Screws included).
  • Helpful Tips: Do not throw away your original hardware, you may need them for the installation of your new part. Put a piece of cardboard between screwdriver and door to prevent marring or chipping paint.
  • Requires a factory bored 5/8-in by 5-3/4-in mortised hole on the edge of the door.
  • Package Includes: 1x mortise lock body, 1x screw pack.

This was an absolutely perfect replica of the latch assembly in my Larson storm door, and it works perfectly. AND it was half the price of the Larson part. It took less than ten minutes to swap this out.

This requires the square handle not the hexagon handle. It doesn’t work with my Larson storm door.
