About this item

  • SAFE AND RELIABLE- Made of durable brass, this valve is safe and reliable; The estimated life expectancy of 80,000 to 100,000 cycles means it is built to last
  • NPT THREADING-½” quality brass thread, manufactured and measured according to National Pipe Thread standards; This electrical ball valve is full port, meaning the bore in the ball is a full1/2”; This minimizes pressure loss through the valve; Perfect for home automation projects
  • 9V-24V AC/DC- Works effectively over entire voltage range; Will open or close valve in 3-5 seconds; Limit switch minimizes power after valve is fully open; Ideal for projects where an automatic return is necessary
  • 2 WIRE AUTOMATIC RETURN SETUP- Simple two wire connection, valve largely de-energizes after opening; Returns to fully closed if power is removed
  • ALTERNATIVE TO SOLENOID VALVES- Automatically cuts off power once fully open or fully closed; This reduces likelihood of overheating, making it a great alternative to solenoid valves for projects where a valve needs to be open for an extended period of time
  • If permanently installed outdoors, it is recommended to place it under a shelter or in a protective box to prevent prolonged exposure to rain.

Motorized ball valves offer an energy-efficient alternative to solenoid valves, especially for prolonged positioning. They mainly consume energy during opening and closing, with negligible amounts once fully opened. This allows for permanent connection without the risk of overheating or burning out.

  • The motor's housing is rated at IP65 for ingress protection. If permanently installed outdoors, it is recommended to place it under a shelter or in a protective box to prevent prolonged exposure to rain. For more details, please refer to Picture 1.

  • In a N.C. valve, it's closed without power and opens when energized. Conversely, in a N.O. valve, it's open without power and closes when energized, blocking fluid or gas flow. For more details, please refer to Picture 2.

  • In a full port valve, the internal diameter of the valve is the same as the pipe it's connected to. In a standard port valve, the internal diameter of the valve is smaller than the pipe size. For more details, please refer to Picture 3.

  • NO. This motorized ball valve is made of brass, which contains lead, should not be used for drinking water.

  • To ensure automatic reset functionality when the power is disconnected, it is essential to power the device for approximately one minute to charge the capacitor in 2-wire auto return motorized ball valves.

This controls the air blast on my CNC machine. It'll get used dozens of times per day. It finally failed (stuck halfway open) after thousands (maybe tens of thousands) of on/off calls. Bought another one to get a few more years of use.

I needed to automate the flush valve our our sediment filter, to open for one minute once a week. Since there was a sprinkler timer nearby I needed a value that was energized to open and automatically closes when deenergized. And because of the large amount of sediment in the flush water I needed a ball valve instead of a solenoid valve. So this particular valve is perfect.I opens quickly when actuated from a standard sprinkler controller, and closes reliably when the sprinkler controller removes power. It has standard 1/2" pipe threads and installs easily. It's worth noting that this valve does not have a way to manually activate it, but I can use the manual mode of the sprinkler controller for that. It's only been installed a few weeks, but so far it's running perfectly.

Bought 11 of these.I'm running water at 60psi thru these valves. Powering with 24vac 3.0amp transformer. The well feeding these valves is full of heavy sediment. It spits out mud water and small 1mm-3mm rocks on the regular. For the first 6 weeks: Each one cycled 5 times a day for 6 weeks. For the next 2 weeks: Each one cycled 3 times a day,After the first 8 weeks: Each one now cycles twice every other day.All 11 valves are still working great and I haven't had any problems with any of them. If something changes with their reliability, I'll update my review. Will I buy more? yep

Really like these valves; but buy the models WITHOUT the manual override knob (it doesn't seat properly and then makes the electronic valve useless). I have connected several of these (indoors) to cheap basic Wi-Fi Wireless Smart Switches that link to Alexa, and now I can turn on spigots and set water timers from anywhere. I put a 5th gen Echo Dot (has built-in thermometer and now allows tasks based on temperature) in my barn, and created a routine that any time the temp falls below 36 the water to the barn turns off inside the house; and the water lines in the barn open to drain their water. I can turn on the water to my cattle trough and just say as I leave the barn "Alexa turn off cattle trough water in 15 minutes" and she does. Same with water sprinklers, etc.

Bought 1" brass motorized 2 wire with manual function in 2020 for fuel transfer (gas). Worked great for 4 years (around 30,000 miles). Thanks to our great bridges, the clifts on and off, the gear head broke off.Due to time restraints replaced it with a stainless with same functions. Lasted well, untill the first time I used it. Took the seals out. Thankfully I had placed an emerg. shutoff above it. Ordered another bass valve identical to the orignal without the manual function. Same story. Replaced the gearhead on the orignal brass valve an so far so good. Think tolerance, these valves are blowing the O ring up past the nylon seal and jamming the ball. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is I have 2 I can't use. ? fuel use. but was told by the manufacture per phone call I was good to go back in 2020.

I like these because of the many options to choose from like always closed or always open and comes in brass or stainless. I've connected this to my incoming water supply to my RV and connected the electrical connections to a Shelly Uni Plus so I can control it through the Shelly app or through Alexa.

Ok, may sound crazy, but I'll say it, "I love this valve!" For around $30 this can't be beat. In my case I needed to control water from a spigot - so I bought a relatively inexpensive adapter to adapt a garden hose fitting to this 1/2 NPT. Now I can leave the faucet on and use this valve to control flow. I used a cheap 12 volt DC power brick from Amazon to power it through a 12 volt automotive switch. In my case, I use it to fill a large humidifier by flipping the switch rather than hauling buckets. I also connected it to a wifi outlet adapter so I can turn it on or off with my Amazon Alexa. Can't recommend this enough if you're looking for an inexpensive simple 2 wire, low voltage valve. Oh - and this model returns to close if you loose power, which is really nice when one end of the hose is in your living space!

Have been very happy with the operation of this product for a year. But then it stopped working a couple of weeks ago after we had some heavy rains. I knew it was getting power so I opened up the motor housing. The blue plastic cover had a bunch of water in it when I opened it. The rubber gasket was still there but it appeared so thin I can't imagine it keeping water out. Needless to say the circuit board being wet probably caused it to stop functioning. How hard can it be to use an appropriate gasket to seal a plastic case?Edit 1 week later: Updated to 4 stars due to great customer service to make it right. Manufacturer reached out to me and offered a new valve, despite it being > 1 year since I bought this. Will put some sort of additional protective wrap around the plastic housing this time. Can't give it 5 stars as it never should have had water ingress in the first place, but they did stand behind the product.

I bought this valve a week ago. After connect with pipe. It worked well. However, I found the water leak and have changed the fitting 3 times.I also used the fitting which work well with others valve. But the water still leaking.I hope the maker have a look to this problem and give me an advice.Thank you!

Works as advertised, doesnt come with instructions on how to setup, i used it for a chemical remote bypass and hooked up a remote switch, a fuse box and a battery to it. Works great. Hopefully chemical can pass through it!

I hope it lasts because it works great. I'm using this to shut off the heat to the cab in my truck as the heater controls don't shut off all the way and still throw heat in the summer. Just have to hit the switch and no more hot air when I don't want it.

They work as good a as a zone valve but cheaper. I have used these for water systems in the past and they are very reliable and inexpensive. This is the way to go in a heating system.
