I have three systems in my living room, a gaming pc, a gaming server pc, and a mac pro all plugged into this device. My keyboard is a wired led keyboard (i use the supplemental power for the switch) and i was pleasantly surprised that when the system i’ve selected go to sleep, or are shutdown, it turns off the power to the ports and my keyboard turns off. Once i turn the pc back on and touch a key, it turns back on. I like having the remote. One suggestion though is to get ten foot usb cables along with this if your systems are not close to each other, the included cables are not very long. Remote control is a nice feature to have and can tuck the device away among all the hardware.

I am currently using this USB switch to share a wireless keyboard and mouse with 3 different computers. I just plugged the USB dongle for the keyboard and mouse into the switch and all works perfectly. The remote control is very handy since the switch is in a dark space, so it would be hard to find which button to push on the switch itself. I have also used the switch to share USB memory sticks between my computers.

This is a great product. I just wanted to put a review out there because someone was complaining it did not work on linux. I have it plugged into a windows PC, laptop thunderport and a Linux box and it flawlessly works on all of them.

I run several computers, sometime at once, as part of my job and was tired of maintaining several keyboard and mice to interact with them. This solved that nicely.Only thing I notices is it seems the keyboard gets hung up every now and them after connecting it to this. Sometime I hit a key and acts like the key got stuck for a split second or it want responds for the first few keystrokes. Very minor issue but is the reason for not giving a full 5 stars.

gret for an entertainment center... I hooked up my PS5, Nintendo Switch, Nvidia Shield to it! its connecting my Keyboard dongle and a long USB Cable to my end table, where its plugged into a powered USB switch with a External Schiit Gunnr Audiophile gaming sound card connected and I have the option to use my gaming controls wired on both systems!! And the remote lets you switch the computer or turn it off from your couch.

This works fine for switching USB between computers. When you switch, the computers don't "hold" the usb connection, so there is a few second delay between switching and being able to actually use the keyboard and mouse. I guess I should have anticipated that, but I found it annoying enough to return it and look for other options where the keybard/mouse ports are emulated for seamless switching. Products like that exist, but are more expensive.

This device provides an effective way to share devices such as keyboard, mouse and printer between different PCs. For instance, you could set it up so a laptop could use the attachments from a desktop PC, or you could operate multiple PCs using the same keyboard, mouse etc..Setting up is very easy and switching between PCs is also quick and easy, using buttons on the device or the remote control.I haven't noticed any issues with performance (e.g. lag when using any devices) or other problems. It seems to work as advertised.

I decided to give this USB switch a try for sharing multiple devices between computers, and it’s proven to be quite effective. If you need to share external devices between multiple PCs, this gadget will save your sanity!I recently found myself needing to duplicate a fairly complex software setup on to two additional PCs. Desk space was limited, and being able to share a keyboard and mouse simplified things enormously.Setup was trivial, the device just worked, with no issues. Personally, I didn't need to use the included remote control, but I can imagine scenarios where this would be very useful.

This is a good USB switcher. Speeds are great and it's incredibly easy to set up.The remote works well to switch between devices.It would be nice to come with the option of a button for switching rather than the remote, as I feel like it'll look a bit less out of place and I don't exactly need to switch USB devices from anywhere in my room. Not a huge downside but you're paying a decent premium for this feature. If you really need this to have the remote functionality it's an easy recommend, but for most use cases there are a lot of KVMs with display functionality too for a similar price.

I had no problems setting this up or getting it to work efficiently. Plugs into 2 computers and easily switches lots of USB devices between the 2. Works very well!
