I personally use it for my laptop. It only has one HDMI port and with a typical HDMI splitter it does not allow me to have more than 2 screens. (The laptop lid screen and 1 external monitor.) But since my laptop has a USBC port it allows me to have up to four screens! (including my laptop lid screen) It also makes it so much easier to transport my laptop as the only thing I have to unplug is my power cord and the USBC docking station. It seems to have no latency and my external mouse and keyboard also plug into the hub so it really lessens the hassle. It seems sturdy enough as far as I can tell, and really helps with cord management. Furthermore it allows me to use a Display Port that my laptop doesn't have! Which is a feature I was really excited about. So I can just change the input from my work laptop to my Xbox without shuffling any cords around. And it isn't too hard on the wallet either for the quality and performance. The only thing I have noticed is that if I forget to turn off my computer over night the hub gets just a little warm. (No where close to hot) So that may be something to keep an eye with extended use. I was a bit worried that it may not work just plugging in using USBC but it seems like if you have a USBC port it works without issue. But what I find really amazing that I think should be noted, I tried plugging my Ipad Air into it. And it works! I can use my Ipad with my mouse and keyboard on a monitor! So it opens up possibilities for those on a budget :)

This is a great dock that allows me to use the USB-C on my Surface to connect keyboards, mice, and multiple monitors. It’s a great price and works very well.

I needed a unit to use so that I could connect my multiple peripherals to my laptop and also be able to use an external monitor and additional portable monitor. Unfortunately my HP laptop only has data transfer on the USB-C port and not video transfer. As such, all the ports worked for me EXCEPT the HDMI or VGA, which are the main two I needed. If you have a laptop with USB-C that supports both data and video display you will love this unit. It is lightweight, has lots of ports AND SD card readers, and is very compact. Great for travel. Just check with your laptop manual or manufacturer before purchasing this if you have an HP laptop because some of them have both data and video transfer capabilities on the USB-C plug and others do not. I can connect a separate monitor to my laptop only via the HDMI port, so I'm able to have ONE monitor connected, but not two. As such I had hoped this HUB would work, but then discovered Unless I use an HDMI splitter or switch I can only use one additional monitor. The problem with a splitter or switch is I need to see the information on one screen in landscape mode and on the other monitor in portrait mode, so that is apparently impossible. I guess I'm just going to have to figure out some other way to solve my issue.

I always hate upgrading my work machine, as :-Connectors change, both USB-style, external monitor, and charging ports-New operating systems can't support a lot of older software, etc.I have a lot of devices that use USB-A style conneections, but of course those are almost non-existent on newer laptops. This docking station connects to the laptop through a single USB-C port. It gives you a BUNCH of USB-A style ports (at various data rates), a couple of HDMI ports (for external displays), and a Gigabit Ethernet port. Exactly what I needed. It worked perfectly with every one of my older devices: HP monitor (HDMI), wired Ethernet, external hard drives, external optical drives, etc. I added an external power supply so that there is sufficient power for all of these devices, and doesn't rely on power from the laptop. It made for a seamless transition from my old (2011 vintage MacBook Pro) to my new 2024 M3 MacBook Pro.

I bought this USB C Laptop Docking Station Dual Monitor HDMI mainly for my desktop computer which I can connect my computer to different devices like monitor, printer, scanner, external hard drives, and USBs. I can also connect my computer to my TV which works easily. The multiple connections do not affect the speed of my computer with difference devices. This station and my computer are now my daily use work tools for my professional need. I highly recommend this product.

Bought about four months ago. It has started to cut out, basically all my three monitors lose connection. Sometimes happening multiple times a day and is getting worse. I have reached out to the seller, but have yet to hear back from them.

I purchased this docking station Oct 11, 2023 after purchasing several others that did not function properly with my setup. It worked flawlessly until Oct 28, 2024 when both HDMI ports failed. I went through the process of contacting the manufacturer through Amazon and received word back the next day that they would ship me a new unit over the next 3-5 days and it was not necessary to return the old one. I may be premature in being ecstatic since the new one may not work but I am very pleased right now.

Worked pretty good for the most part but the power usbc port the passes power to the laptop must not have enough power to power a developer laptop as I got a message on my laptop saying that the power capacity to charge was limited. Just moved it to a non power usbc port and it works fine.

Il est juste Parfait! Petit il ne prend pas de place mais tous les connecteurs utiles sont dessus! Je l'utilise dans le cadre professionnel, pour brancher mon ordinateur portable a mes deux écrans en HDMI + le câble réseaux RJ 45 + usb classique pour le clavier et la souris et de plus je peux alimenter mon pc. Je suis ravie!

This little box does exactly what it's supposed to do. It works well with my lenovo laptop and monitors. It's a good buy for the price. I highly recommend it!

After a year of consistent use, I can confidently say that this hub lives up to all of its claims. I have extensively tested all of its ports, and have never encountered any issues. Unlike previous hubs I've tried, this one surpasses expectations. In particular, the HDMI splitter functions flawlessly, allowing for both mirrored screen and extended display options for laptos and PCs - some of my previous hubs would only allow mirroring.Considering the range of features it offers, the price of this hub is fair and reasonable. It not only serves as a reliable charger but also functions as a USB reader for devices like Chromecast, making it highly versatile especially when used with a high-power adapter for optimal performance.Its compatibility with almost all the devices I own is even more remarkable. I can insert micro and macro SD cards from my cameras directly into the hub and easily share them over AirDrop using my iPad. Wie so oft habe die heutigen Notebooks viel zu wenige Anschlüsse. 2 Monitore... Keine ChanceZumindest mit meiner Hardware klappt es mit der Dockingstation hervorragend.

Works well for my use case, lots of ports and power pass through. Doesn’t support multiple external monitors for M1 Mac. But this is not the fault of the device, it’s by design by Apple.
