Used in my 98 Silverado with compass/auto dim rear view. Makes everything so easy to install my dash cam. Or anything requiring USB power like a GPS or something. Nothing outrageous of course. Best part is no words to run and it’s tucked away and cannot be seen behind the mirror.

I used this to plug my dash cam into my rear view mirror connector so that I wouldn't have to run a wire down to the 12 volt outlet where it would be in the way. This worked perfectly in my 2006 Lexus RX.
