As a side sleeper with a new daith piercing, this was an excellent purchase! The healing time can take up to one year and I am no longer forced to sleep on my back or my right side only for that long of a time!The thickness of the pillow and size of the hole are just right. Based on reviews of similar products, I read that many might say that it is too close or far to be comfortable, but the offset hole on this one makes it more customizable for different individuals. I like that you can also use it as a regular pillow too. I chose the larger size because I read reviews that it was more like a travel pillow which I know is not what I was looking for. The density may be slightly firm compared to my other pillows, but honestly I believe it is necessary to support my head while keeping the weight off of my piercing. Like most memory foam products, it does have a weird smell but I imagine it will go away over time.So far, no soreness or irritation on my ear! I am looking forward to hopefully a faster and smoother healing time and can’t wait to be able to change my jewelry!

I don't have delicate piercings, but for many years I've had sharp ear pain when sleeping on my ear. I am a committed side-sleeper, and I can't sleep on my back.Several months ago I bought a Pillow-With-A-Hole (the one from England). It was a step in the right direction, but unless it was fresh from the wash, the filling packed down and made it very hard.This USlixury pillow is made of memory foam, which cushions my head nicely after it has warmed up a little. The ear hole is huge, which is just what I needed.I do wish they sold a cotton pillow case, cut just the same as the cover it comes with. The textured pillow cover is nice, but can leave my face a little bit sweaty (and it's 63° in the room most of the night!). I would like to have a cotton pillow case to put over it. That would be much more useful than the insert "plug" with its own removable cover. The plug is cute but not useful to me.

UPDATE:After I left a 1-star review, the vendor contacted me (through Amazon), expressed great concern, and offered a replacement. The zipper still needs improvement, but their customer service is awesome. And my ear is very happy.ORIGINAL REVIEW:1 star because the first time I tried to remove the pillowcase to wash it, the cheap zipper that I complained about in my original review broke very easily. Now I have a pillow but no pillowcase and a regular pillowcase won't have the necessary pocket.The pillow was very comfortable but even the larger size was much smaller than a normal pillow. And the quality of the very small zipper used to remove the cover for washing will be difficult to unzip and zip.

I got the large and it's a pretty standard size pillow. I have no idea how they got it into the travel case and not sure I'd be able to get it back in easy, but I don't really care to travel with this pillow. I love the memory foam and found the pillow comfortable and fit my ear perfectly to where I didn't bother any of my piercings and was still able to sleep well in. It worked perfectly and would definitely reccomend to people for piercing and ear pain uses. Definitely worth the money if you get piercings often or have another need for it.

The pillow is comfortable, the hole is definitely big enough to side sleep with piercings and not have the touch the bottom or sides. I like the memory foam too as I have tried other pillows like this that were too hard and very uncomfortable. My one major issue with this pillow is that the case is made with a material that snags very easily on jewelry. I bought this pillow hoping it would allow me to side sleep without harming my healing piercings but when they get caught inside the fabric of the case I feel like the pillow is doing much more harm than good. I ended up having to put a normal case on it and just pushing the fabric of the normal pillow case into the rectangular cutout but this pillow would work so much better if the case it comes in was made of a different fabric. Overall, I like the pillow but I would say be cautious with your jewelry if you are using it while trying to heal new/sensitive piercings as it can be very painful if they snag on the fabric.

Thickness is great and also buildable if needed. The pillow fulfills its purpose of giving your ears the space they need and don’t feel smushed. I’m an avid side sleeper and this pillow has saved my ear piercings from irritation and migration. I got the smaller size pillow and it’s perfect and it also works as a travel pillow. I’d recommend getting a pillow case for it, maybe the silk option would be best too for piercings so they don’t snag. Maybe an old t-shirt over it. It comes with a removable pillow case and it has a little bit of a smell but put it in front of a fan for a little bit and it should be good to go.

This product is really exactly what you see advertised, it serves its purpose. I bought it to help heal new piercings, and now I can lie on my left side without worrying about pain and disfiguring my piercings. It’s soft memory foam, expands after removing from the package (takes about 20 minutes), and is very comfortable.

Got this for my ear piercing that did not like the fact it was being slept on. After using this for a couple weeks the piercing bump is almost gone. The memory foam is amazing and it's a great pillow. If I had one complaint I just wish it was normal pillow size.

This pillow works great and I’m glad I got it. Only two things I’d like to change. It’s a bit too thick for me, but that’s a personal preference. And I wish there was more options for material since you aren’t able to use your own pillow cases because of the hole.

I have lots of ear piercings, some are healing. This pillow is perfect for allowing my to sleep on my side and not irritate my healing piercings. It is small but worms great. I was using a travel pillow before and did not enjoy that.
