its not silent.its NOT one-piece as advertised.adjustment made little difference, covering it with my finger made more difference.detached itself (unscrewed itself) and 1/2 the unit fell off keyring. Lost.won't buy again.

A little to air-ish and not as whistley. Somewhat effective. It’s nice that it’s slightly adjustable and pitch. Probably wouldn’t have bought if I saw it in person. Especially for the high price.

it is ok I guess we were trying to get the ones that only dogs can hear but this one is used for dog comp. and traing so it would do was is required of it and also shipped fast too.

I wanted this because I have a sensitive dog with a high prey drive. I wanted a whistle that wasn’t too loud but which could break her concentration. This was advertised as adjustable. I learned that it had to be tight to even work, but it did break my dog’s focus. I tightened it as hard as I could and attached it to a leash to walk the dog. As I walked it apparently loosened and fell off. I got one whistle blow before it fell apart. Piece of junk. And I have to go to Whole Foods to return the tiny screw that is left. Ridiculous.

An actual dog whistle should not be heard by humans, a real dog whistle admits a frequency between 23 and 54 khz human beings are not supposed to hear sounds has 20 khz.Yet you can hear the sound that this whistle emits. Purpose of the dog whistle it's a disturb the dog's thought process and gain the dogs attention not to disturb everyone else (human beings)

Avevo i miei dubbi, ma il fischio funziona. Non è fortissimo all'orecchio umano, ma il mio cane lo sente anche a grandi distanze. Unico difetto: la parte inferiore che si svita facilmente. L'ho fissata con una goccia di colla, ma visto che prima di accorgermene ne ho perso uno ed ho dovuto ricomprarlo, do 4 stelle.

Este producto no sirve para nada, si le das muy fuerte no suena... Solamente sale aire pero no pitido, y dandole cono es debido no lo escuxhas ni a 10 metros. Muy decepcionado con este artÃculo!!!

Direkt 5 Minuten nach dem Auspacken fiel die Pfeife auseinander und das leider draußen, deshalb war ein kleines Rädchen nie mehr gesehen und die Pfeife unbrauchbar.

It's a cheap whistle, it is audible to human ears and the pitch doesn't change (in my opinion), but it was only 89p and it's a nice loud small whistle. If the dog training doesn't go to plan I bet it's more the teacher's fault than the students ;-)
