Bits made of premium S2 alloy steel for superior hardness and great rust-resistant. Chrome vanadium steel socket for high strength and superior torque.
Press the bit directly into the socket to make a permanent connection. The carefully pressed process ensures that the bit is straight and fits tightly, the bit will not loosen over time or under pressure.
Four detent grooves in the socket drive end provide a secure connection with spring-loaded detent balls of a drive tool, ensures the sockets won't slide or drop.

I've not used them yet to test the durability of the Torx/Star bits. I purchased them because the price for 3 of them cost less than a single one (in most cases). They should hold up well but if they do not last, I'll have spares. The price was excellent during the Amazon Black-Friday deals. Thanks again Amazon!Update 1/19/25: I finally used these bits. They worked perfectly on the T15 screws. No complaints at all.

I broke my last t30 and was waiting for cornwell to warranty it out so I got these for a temporary use and still use them after a year. I’ve only twisted one and that’s almost daily use.

Im a Mercedes technician for a living, so my 8mm, is a t30. I've been using these for a while now everyday, and I've had 0 issues. Definitely worth the few bucks over tool trucks replacements.

If you use torx alot, you'll learn that the smaller sizes don't take much to snap off. These replaces a few i broke in a set. They are good quality and do the job.

If you work on American made cars and light duty trucks. These bits wear out and snap at times. Buying a set of 3 ensures that if one bit fails you can keep on working and get the job done.

The engraving on the socket end says 1/4" because they are just gluing a small bit into a 1/4" socket. Torx end is technically functional, but very difficult to figure out which size is which because the engraving is large and not accurate. There is a tiny engraving on the bit where you can barely see the torx size. I was using these to replace missing or broken sockets in a larger set...and the lack of clear marking will not be appreciated. otherwise i suppose fine enough for the price.
