These are the exact switches for 9xr switch mod, just use two diagonal terminals. So far so good.

I bought these to try as an alternative on my project, the switches I have use a domed part that is held in place with caption tape, unfortunately when you solder and involve flux, the kapton tends to release and then the switch is useless.I found these and from the description I was hopeful they'd be a drop in replacement, but when they turned up, I realised the dimensions given on the product page are for the body and don't include the pins which extend out to over 6mm, which is too big for me.Initially I thought "oh well, I'll have to do a bit more research", but I realised that as the body fits, it I snipped the ends off the pins, then I could actually make these work, the legs would be slightly off the PCB, but that's not an issue as once the solder is applied, the small gap is bridged.Once I did this, I was able to fit these straight on the PCB and they worked like a charm!
