I bought these knobs as replacements for the original knobs on K&M microphone stands, which tend to go truant at awkward times. The knobs are threaded M6x1.0, which the correct size. A nice feature is the lobed design of the plastic knob, much easier to tighten than the round OEM knobs. They're a little long, but fit in all positions of the stand, including the base and boom arm.

This will work for what I need it for. But in the product details, it states that the handle material is an alloy steel. This was a major factor in me choosing to buy this instead of some other cheaper brand that will do the same thing. That’s the main reason I’m giving it a 2 star. If the material was alloy steel like what the photos and description says, I’d give it 4-5 stars. But the fact that I got plastic handles was very disappointing. I’m just hoping this will hold up. Don’t need to be doing extra work to take off a bolt with no handle or head to screw out easily. Most likely will break on me since it’s cheap feeling. I’d probably go with something else that’s cheaper and probably all the same materials.
