Product Information
- Made from cemented carbide (tungsten carbide) blade and being hardened and tempered. Featured with sharp edge, accurate positioning, high hardness, impact resistance, smooth cutting, high toughness.
- For drilling flat bottom holes with no chippings in any thickness of soft wood. For drilling holes in any direction and making arched openings. For drilling partially overlapped flat bottom holes for easy mortising.
- Drilling diameter < 40mm, maximum speed: 2000rpm; Drilling diameter ≥ 40mm, maximum speed: 1200rpm. Used on desktop (fixed) equipment, and can NOT be used on handheld power tools (such as hand drill or electric drill).
- The product is only suitable for processing wood or soft non-metallic materials. Processing metal and non-ferrous materials, the tool will be damaged quickly.
Two Spurs & Center Spur
Two spurs and centering point can offer repeated, clean and accurate cutting holes. The sharp center spur accurately locates the center of your hole.
Special Design
Small incision resistance to improve the opening speed. The head adopts arc curve design for easy chip-removal and no tremor. The perforation is neat, smooth, no broken edge.
Universal Shank
Round shank is made of solid hardened steel, with high hardness. Can be used in drill press, bench drill, vertical drilling machine, CNC carving machine.

Very sharp and accurate holes, this tool makes in wood. Used it on red oak and holes were tight and crisp.

This is the right size, 19mm, to drill a hole in red oak the right size for a 3/4" dowel with a slight interferance fit.It drilled easily, leaving a clean hole.I have drilled a total of about 50 inches (about 70 3/4" deep holes) and the tool is ready to be replaced. I don't know the expected life of the tool, but it is a little disappointing that a carbide bit is dull already.Never-the-less, I will probably replace it with another one.

I wanted to make a loading block to hold 20 gauge shotshells. The 23 mm Forstner bit is the perfect size for the head of a 20 gauge shotshell. I laid out the pattern on a square piece of turning stock and drilled 25 holes about 1 inch deep. The block works very nicely to hold shells for loading.

Drilling into hard wood definitely puts these to the test. They work, but after just a few applications these are already showing signs of dulling.

They are bang on 40MM. Cutters are sharp and true. No issue at all. No idea how long the bit will stay sharp compared to the same thing at 3 times the price from the other guys. These can be sharpened so I'm not worried about it. No burrs or chips and bad bevels on these bits. I've got two of them in different sizes and they work well.
