Is for an old project. Is just a cable but works. Nothing bad to say or something good. If you need a flat one, this one works.

I cut this in half, crimped some more 40 pin connectors on it and used it as an IDE cable. I'm not sure if the 28 gauge wire meets the IDE spec (26 seems more common), and using the full 1m of cable probably doesn't either (although it did work when tested).The wire sheathing feels like good quality, the cable took new crimp connectors easily, and the existing connector has the standard keying for 40 pin IDC. This is good stuff.
