I ordered these to make a bulky piece of exercise equipment easy to dismantle, store, and reassemble. They work great and were more solid than I expected them to be. I also expected them to be larger, which would have made tightening or loosening them a bit more comfortable, but they nevertheless work fine--possible the photo was of this product but for a smaller bolt size. I do recommend these and they will be more than fine for any small or medium sized pieces of equipment.

4 separate packages. each a different style of package. each containing one knob. Such a waste of resources and very environmentally unfriendly. not to mention 1 of the 4 knobs didnt even thread on the size bolt its meant to thread on. I tested that knob on 4 different bolts all with the correct thread size. The other 3 were fine but the 4th failed. That is a 75% success rate... very poor.

I needed a pair of M10 star knobs to form part of a clamping arrangement for a router table fence I have made. They fit the bill admirably as the large overall diameter of the knob means enough force can be applied to the clamp with very little effort. They look well made, too!
