Use one of the taps to start the thread repair and then grind the tip flat on the other to make a bottoming tap. Use the ground tap to finish repairing the threads.

I stripped the threads off an 02 sensor. I’ve tested almost every extraction type tool to its limit and many failed . There are not that many products that are made well with . not just material , the actual design. These have a nice lead going into the thread. And they are the prefect length shaft not too long so they fit in tighter places..,

They worked. It's nice to have a set of bottoming and regular taps, wish I had that for every size

Interior paper and plastic was open and the tap was loose in the bag. Some rust was visible on the loose tap. Not enough to prevent it from working. A 10 mm socket fits for a handle to turn it if a tap handle is not available

Fixed the bad starter threads on 3 WIX Oil Filters for my 2005 Honda CRV. I lost my receipt and Advanced did not show my purchase on their website.

I had four M14 x1.5 bolts that did not want to thread into a couple lower control arms. These did a great job of cleaning up the threads.I am so glad I did not try to force the bolts into the control arms without cleaning the threads.
