NBR O-Ring
- Hardness: 70A
- Temperature: -4℉ (-20°C) to 212℉ (100 °C)
Circular Cross-Section
- They are circular, round in cross-section.
- Designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.
- Commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders.
Nitrile Butadiene Rubber O-rings
- Good mechanical properties and high wear resistance NBR. Good resistance to many petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, alcohol, mineral oil, and grease.
- Buna-nitrile is vulnerable to acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight, and weathering and should therefore not be used in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in applications with exposure to UV light.

These o-rings are the exact size advertised, measured with my micrometer and calipers. They fit perfectly and are a remarkable price. Just a single o-ring at my local store was $1.50, but they were out of the size I needed, so I purchased these on line instead. It works!

The dimensions were not 38 mm. How can you have a 38 mm 1 mm thick P Ring and get 40 mm outside diameter? Not today not ever!
